Madhur Bhandarkar accused of rape.. 2004 case re opens!!
National Award-winning film director Madhur Bhandarkar is in legal trouble as a court in Mumbai, issued summons against him in a rape that took place in the year 2004. The case was filed by an upcoming star.
“The magistrate, Andheri Railway Mobile Court, today issued summons asking Madhur Bhandarkar to appear before it Oct 18 and file his statement in the case,” advocate S. Kunjuraman, lawyer for the alleged victim, Pretti Jain, told a tabloid.
The case was asked to be dismissed by the police as the victims allegations proved to be false, during the investigation.
In the year 2004, news had it that Bhandarkar was involved in a rape case. Pretti alleged that she slept with Bhandarkar from 1999-2004 as he promised her a lead role in his films and marriage.
In a statement later, Pretti alleged: “We had sex 16 times and Madhur made promises of giving me a lead role in his films. However, he didn’t offer me a lead role in any of his movies. At times when I refused, he raped me.”
In September 2005, Pretti was arrested after she reportedly hired a contract killer for Rs.70,000 to murder Bhandarkar.
In January 2006, police requested the court to dismiss the case against Bhandarkar as they had found Pretti’s allegations to be false.

Abhishek Bachchan injured!!
Abhishek Bachchan sustained minor injuries while filming for Bol Bachchan on set in Jaipur. He suffered a small cut above the eye that had to be stitched up, while filming a small action sequence at the time of the accident.
The actor, who is now back in Mumbai, made light of the mishap over his Twitter account, after thanking fans for expressing their concern.
“Bachpan me mere pitaji ne mujhe sikhaya tha… “mard ko dard nahin hota” 
!!!,” he tweeted.
“I will be fine. Can’t say the same for the rickshaw!!! Banged him up good! Hehe,” he said a little later.
Bol Bachchan is a remake of Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s 1979 comedy film Gol Maal, with Abhishek Bachchan essaying Amol Palekar’s role, and Ajay Devgn, Utpal Dutt’s. The film releases July 6, 2012.

Sonam Kapoor and Punit Malhotra have finally opened up to the world at Imran Khan’s bash on Thursday night. The duo behaved like lovebirds.
An eyewitness revealed, “Though Sonam and Punit entered the party separate, once inside Imran’s house, the two stuck to each other throughout. They looked like they were in a very happy and comfortable space together.”
Sonam and Punit, it may be recalled, have been extremely discreet about their relationship.
Speaking about Sonam and Punit’s chemistry, the eyewitness revealed, “They were very comfortable with each other. It was very clear that they are fond of each other. It is high time they came out in the open and declared their love for each other. Love is a beautiful thing, and moreover, they have been going steady for the last two-and-half years now. Why do they continue to play hide-and-seek?”
Vidya Balan continues to shoot for ‘Dirty Picture’ despite flu…
Vidya Balan is a true professional. The actress is currently in Hyderabad shooting for a song sequel for the film ‘Dirty Pictures’. Vidya Balan, despite being down with flu, continued to shoot the song with co-actor Naseerudin Shah, and yet did not utter a word.
Says a source, “The song was being shot in a lotus pond and it was on a tight schedule. Filming had to be wrapped up within two to three days, as those were the only dates available.
It required Vidya to stay in the pond for over four to five hours during the sequence.”
Adds the source, “Vidya started feeling ill on the first day itself as she was in water for so long. She developed high fever.
Though director Milan Luthria asked his leading lady to take a breather, she was keen that the shoot continue.”
The producers would have had to face huge losses if in case the shooting was halted. Not just that. The crew who had specially flown down from Mumbai would have also been affected. As a result Vidya did not want the filming to be affected.

For all you Madhuri fans, here’s some good news for you. The gorgeous actress is all set to relocate to India. Does that mean she is making a comback in Bollywood too???
In the year 1999, post marriage to Ram Nene, Madhuri Dixit shifted to the US.
Madhuri posted on Twitter: “For all my fans, we r relocating to India! It will b good to b back home.”
Buzz also has it that the actress is looking out for the best schools in the city to get her sons admitted.
Madhuri surely has a bright future. We only hope she revives her career in Bollywood.
Imran Khan-Kareena Kapoor ki jodi… What say???
The audience loved Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif together in the latest box office hit Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. Now, the lover boy will be paired opposite Kareena Kapoor in Karan Johar’s ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’. Imy and Bebo play a couple who are completely different from each other but yet are totally in love.
For a publicity campaign of the film, the duo shot a few pics. Karan immediately uploaded them on Twitter.
“Imran and kareena just shot the publicity campaign for EK MAIN AUR EKK TU!!! Super fun shoot….” Karan tweeted.
The first look of the film has already been released and this pic surely show the on screen couple’s superb chemistry.

The latest buzz doing the rounds is that top pop singer Lady Gaga is all set to make an appearance on the Indian reality TV show Bigg Boss 5.
The channel Colors is in detail talks with the Grammy winning singer for an appearance in Bigg Boss 5. The show will be hosted by Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan, together.
Bigg Boss 4 saw Pamela Anderson on the show and she was a big time sensation last year. Her presence spiked the show’s TRPs, tremendously.
And this year, if all goes as planned, Lady Gaga it will be!
When Shahrukh Khan lost his cool!!!
Shahrukh Khan often at his best behavior in front of the media. He is one actor who remains calm, cordial and cool with the media. However, it was not the same this time at the music launch of Ra.One.
Now, there was one question that completely spoiled SRK’s jolly mood. He was asked about Priyanka Chopra’s absence at the music launch, despite she making a guest appearance in the film.
Shahrukh literally insulted the reporter in his reply.
“There’s Sanjay Dutt too in the film and even he hasn’t come. I am glad that Sanjay and Priyanka didn’t come nahin toh unhe tumhare sawaalon se sharminda hona padta,” Shahrukh is reported to have said.
