Salman to shed his flamboyant self in Ek Tha Tiger…
Director Kabir Khan’s (of New York fame) next flick will see Salman Khan adopt a genre, he has so far avoided. We hear that Ek Tha Tiger will have Sallu miya play an undercover agent of the Indian intelligence agency RAW (Research and Analysis Wing).
Salman’s role is going to be very realistic and so one cannot expect naach-gaana and mushy-romancing.
Now, Salman has a lot to prepare for his character. His character is that of an intelligence agent who is supposed to have razor-sharp senses and reflexes.
Can’t wait for it’s release…
Deepika-Siddharth’s public display of affection…
Deepika Padukone and Siddharth Mallya were so overwhelmed over the victory of their team Royal Challengers Bangalore against Kolkata Knight Riders on Friday, that the duo hugged and kissed in front of TV cameras.
The win was especially euphoric because it was built on a bludgeoning knock of 102 off just 55 balls by Chris Gayle, former KKR opener now playing for RCB. Gayle who failed to provide blistering starts to KKR last year was dropped from the team this year, only to be picked up by Bangalore. Ironic that his big knock came against his former team.
Anyway, the crowd, though supportive of KKR at Eden Gardens, was still left in raptures by the Gayle storm and particularly euphoric were the supporters of the Bangalore team.
In the stands Deepika and Siddharth Mallya cheered for the Bangalore team and at the moment of triumph, they hugged and kissed each other.
The news channels played that shot umpteen times on prime time. Catch the pic above.

Neil Nitin Mukesh and Asin, are not an item…
Neil Nitin Mukesh was literally shocked on hearing rumours about his secret affair with Bollywood actress Asin.
What’s more shocking is that, all these rumors have taken life in his absence. Niel is currently in Russia, shooting for Abbas Mustan’s Players.
He rubbishes the rumors saying, “To begin with I am not seeing Asin. I don’t know how these rumours take life. Regular friendships become affairs and suddenly someone else other than me and my family are making career decisions for me. This has got to stop.”
The recent report that Neil had recommended Asin to a filmmaker, who later said she wasn’t doing the film but also didn’t want Neil to do it, has actually got Neil into the buzz.
Nitin adds, “And as for which film I should do or not, that is a call only I will take,”

Vivek seen barefoot at a youth concert!!
Vivek Oberoi is a devout at heart. At the Youth Concert with spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on the occasion of National Youth Day on Jan 12 at Andheri Sports Complex, he was seen barefoot.
Vivek’s no-chappal stunt stood out because everyone at the concert had their footwear on. The concert saw performances by the musician trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
Also to be noted was Vivek’s attire. He chose to dress traditionally in veshti and sported an angvastram. He took a seat with Hema Malini at the concert.
Kangana rides a heavy metal for ‘Tanu Weds Manu’..
Kangana Ranaut tried her hand at riding the heavy metal Bullet which other wise only a robust man can handle. This was during the shooting for Tanu Weds Manu.
In the movie, Kangana plays a small town girl who defies every stereotype attached to girls – like they shouldn’t smoke, drink, or drive. The movie also stars Madhavan,
Director Anand L Rai says in his statement: “Since Kangana plays a small town wild girl, we wanted her to do all those things that a typical small town girl would not think of doing. So, riding a bike was something that would have helped strengthen Tanu’s character, so we bounced off the idea of Tanu riding a bike to Kangana and she was thrilled to do it.”
However, the stunt turned out to be easier said than done because Kangana found out that she had to drive the heavy Bullet bike through narrow, crowded lanes, and that too with one person sitting pillion.
What was feared happened and Kangana fell down from the bike while shooting in Punjab last year. She sustained a foot injury and had to take a few days’ break to fully recover, leading to the cancellation of the film’s shoot and a hole worth Rs. 1.5 crore in the producer’s pocket.
