Thanks to Rana Daggubati, the film fared slightly better in the southern belt. Its three-day collection stands at a little over Rs. 16 crore. Monday saw a tremendous drop, with an average collection of around Rs. 2 to 2.25 crore nett.

However, the flick hasn’t been declared a flop, yet……

RUBBISH FILM the only reason it is not declared a FLOP is of the “bachan” surname. If this film had a different actor then it would have been declared a flop on the first day!!!!!!!!!! BOLLWOOD POLITICS STINKS!!!!!!!!!!

DMD is a hit at bocksoffice http://bollyspice.com/view.php/6994-dum-maaro-dum-is-a-hit-at-the-box-office.html

Dum Maaro Dum managed to cause a lot of controversy with its portrayal of Goa before its release on April 22nd but it seems that the film has proved to be a hit at the box office.

The film managed to bring in RS 16.5 crore last weekend and has gone on to become Abhishek Bachchan’s first major hit after Paa and Dostana. Vijay Singh, CEO of Fox Star Studios confirmed the news by saying that “DMD is Abhishek Bachchan’s third biggest opening of all time after Dhoom 2 and Dostana. The film is doing quite well in most centres.”

It seems that Abhishek Bachchan is not the only star that is attracting crowds to watch the movie but it is also Rana Daggubati’s role in the movie that is proving popular. Rana’s appearance is bringing in viewers in the South of India. T. Srikanth, GM Operations, Prasad Media Corporation Ltd, confirms this by saying that “Rana’s popularity coupled with the famous title of the movie was a crowd puller.”

Dum Maaro Dum released on the 22nd April and stars Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu, Rana Daggubati, Prateik Babbar and Aditya Pancholi.

DMD is a fab movie! bollywood celbden site is not a good site, I won’t visite this stupid site anymore. goooo abhisek! we are proud, and next is dhoom3 with aamir, like to see you with him

ye amitabh ke kutte kitna bhi shor machale abhishek ek flop actor hei aur rahega, sab jante hein amitabh presurrize karke media aur film industry se apne beto ki flop filmo ko hit ya avergae naam dilwata hei. its shamefull on part of amitabh to stoop so low for his sons career. Dum Maro Dum is actually a flop we know it and box office says so.

I’m from the UK and don’t watch many bollywood films, but any film where a bent cop sticks a condom covered fireman up a crooks arse to extract information is awesome by me.

Not your typical song and dance rubbish, thumbs up.
