★ #READY makers thank #DABANGG! Promo of @BeingSalmanKhan’s READY has become a rage on satellite world as well as the internet..!
    April 19, 2011

Promo of READY has become a rage on satellite world as well as the internet, hence wiping away competition arising from all forthcoming movies for next two months at the least. With millions of viewers worldwide waking up to the First Look of READY, the game is set for the makers to continue the momentum.
“Within two days of the promo being released, we got the kind of reactions that DABANGG had managed for itself in two weeks. For that too we have to thank DABANGG only since it worked so very well with the fan base of Salman Khan”, agrees Bhushan Kumar, head honcho of T-Series and the producer of the film, “People wanted something big to come after DABANGG and we were conscious of that as well to give them something like READY which actually manages to live up to the expectations.”
No wonder, there was quite some brainstorming that went behind putting together those two minutes of the film’s promo.
“To tell you honestly, we were very tensed about how the promo of READY would be received. DABANGG benchmark is quite difficult to be surpassed and we were nervous about whether READY would get similar reactions or not”, Bhushan adds, “It was all very scary because it would have been quite tough for the film if people wouldn’t have liked the promo.”

    m very happy…sallu haters tumhara muh kALA”..heheheeee…just kidding…

★ What’s Salman Khan’s Day Like?! ” @BeingSalmanKhan’s fan following is just unbelievable fame,”! BlessHm<3!
    Excerpt frm da article!
    APRIL 19, 2011
Salman Khan gets mobbed wherever he goes, “like the Beatles.” Comic actor Boman Irani felt like an old pal. In spite of his “bad ass” image, next-gen actor Neil Nitin Mukesh is really “sweet.” Soap star Smriti Irani, who dominated the role of the saintly housewife, worked at McDonald’s when she was first starting out.
Mark Bennington gleaned these bits-and-pieces after spending his recent months chasing after Bollywood stalwarts and newcomers. No, he’s not India’s most avid autograph-seeker. Instead, he’s trying to capture a moment in their lives for his documentary photography project “Living the Dream.” The book, when it’s finished, will feature 114 portraits, each accompanied by an anecdote about trying to make it—and having made it—in Bollywood.
So far, the actor-turned-photographer has managed to shoot and interview 110 people, from big screen names both past and present like Salman Khan, Irrfan Khan, Anupam Kher and Hema Malini to theater personality Lilette Dubey and character actor Vijay Raaz to recent arrivals to Mumbai, home to India’s Hindi movie industry.
“Everyone across the board was saying you have to make sure you get paid on the last day of shooting,” said Mr. Bennington. “Salman [Khan] was saying that in so many projects he hasn’t been paid for it and it’s just sort of accepted.”
Mr. Bennington said he was particularly struck by Mr. Khan’s following. He spent two days with the actor, on a shoot.

“His(salman) fan following is like the Beatles in the ‘60s, just unbelievable fame,” he said. “We’re out on a balcony on the Marriott and people were lining up on buildings across from the Marriott hoping to get a glimpse of him.”
