i think that you cannot compare them, one is very modern whilst the other is the legendry and original. zeenat was good in her time and still is obviously, but according to today, the song has been remixed and i think deepika looks great and has done well. some people say they do not like zeenat’s version but thats because there todays generation so it does not appeal to them as much. so you cannot compare, today i like deepika’s more, but if i was born earlier then i would have liked the older version. do people get me?

honestly , i dont like zeenat aman’s version of it . she looks very boring , and she isnt doing much . just singing , smoking weed , and then she gets up and dances for a while , and takes more weed , and its really boring man !
deepika did a freaking awesome job ! she gave her best in all the dance moves , and her expressions or flawless . she just does that drugged look so perfectly ! i agree that what she is wearing isnt the best thing out there , but come on .. look at that curvy waist ! look at those hot legs ! look at that enchanting gaze ! Next, Deepika looks a total bore in this song.
She looks sleepy, her skirt which looks more like a paper foil plastic is very bad , along with boring white top.
Moreover the dance moves are also not so happening.
An item number should be of “TOTAL DHAMAKA” type like-
Munni/ Krazy Kiya Re or Aisa Jaadu dala re Etc.[ where music/ dance moves/ set/ costume are all just perfect].
In this song the only thing intresting is the line- “Aaj mayrey liye chair kheech raha hi, kal mayri skirt kheechayga, Kheechayga Na?”
