Dabangg was the biggest hit of the year 2010. But along with its success, came its flip side too. Director Abhinav Kashyap did not expect being caught in a Bollywood crossfire – between the industry’s biggest rivals, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, as both actors were eager to work with him in their next projects.
SRK wanted Kashyap to start a film for Red Chillies Entertainment, while Sallu wanted the director to start work on the Dabangg sequel.
If reports are to be believed, Kashyap decided to stick to the actor who made his debut film a super hit and that was none other than Salman Khan.
We wonder how will SRK take to Kashyap’s preference for Salman?
A source revealed, “The shooting of Dabangg 2 starts in December 2011. As for SRK’s film, he has still not been able to lock the script. The SRK project is still far away.”
