Salman-Katrina may soon be seen together…
If buzz is to be believed, Director Kabir Khan (director of New York) is coming up with another Bollywood film and has decided to cast Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead. Kat is already a part of the film, but Salman’s consent is awaited.
The first choice for the film lead actor was SRK and then Hrithik Roshan. However, since both of them refused the offer, Kabir zeroed down his search to Sallu Bhai…
News has it that, Katrina Kiaf is unhappy with Salman Khan being a part of the film as the actress wanted to work with new actors, and pairing up with Shahrukh is in her wish list.
“She was looking forward to working with some new actors. Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan would’ve been a great opportunity, she thought,” says a source.
But Katrina, seeing you both together, is really what we are wishing for… 
Is Deepika over shadowing Bipasha???
The leading lady being sidelined by an actress doing a cameo in an item song, how can Bipasha Basu take such a thing??? well, buzz has it that, Deepika Padukone’s item number in ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ is being perceived as the first look of the film. In fact the poster only has Deepika grooving to the number and no one else.
According to a source, “There were various debates about how the first look poster of the film will be made.
Finally it was decided that rather than having Abhishek Bachchan and Bipasha Basu on the posters of the film it would be nice to have Deepika who features in the item song `Dum Maro Dum’.
When Bipasha learnt about the poster she was not very happy and called Rohan Sippy who explained his promotional strategy to her.”
The film’s first teaser and the look has managed to grab the eyeballs and the controversies, in turn only bringing in more publicity before the movie’s release on April 22.
For Salman, ‘Darr Ke Aage Jeet Hai’…
Dabangg Khan risks his life for a soft drink ad. The daring and dashing Khan is said to have jumped from a height of 10,000 feet in a ‘wingsuit’ from which a parachute springs open. This daredevil stunt is done in PepsiCo’s Mountain Dew new ad which is shot in New Zealand.
“Everyone is afraid of something or the other at some point of his or her life. But if you try to run away from fear, you’d be tired and eventually fear will win. So the best way to overcome fear is to face it, run through it because ‘Darr Ke Aage Jeet Hai’,” Salman said in a statement.
Reportedly, Salman was initially a little nervous about doing the the risky stunt. Wingsuit flying is a new sport of flying through the air in a special jumpsuit and pulling the parachute’s ripcord as one approaches the ground.
He is said to be the first celebrity brand ambassador roped in by Mountain Dew.
“Salman has jumped from a mountain which was 10,000 feet high. He did have jitters initially but was confident it would work out well and he would be able to overcome his fears in turn,” Alpana Titus, category marketing director of the soft drink brand, is quoted as saying.

LadyGaga and Priyanka Chopra spotted together…
Desi diva Priyanka Chopra, recently met up with pop sensation Lady GaGa.
Both the girlies hung out after GaGa’s Madison Square Garden concert. PC Chopra has been a very big fan of Lady GaGa’s music for a while.
Says Priyanka, “I like her tracks, “Poker Face,” “Bad Romance,” and “Drag Queen,” so it was great to see her perform.” Spending time with Gaga after the concert, PC said, “She is keen on doing something in India. I think she is going on an Asia tour soon and that’s really cool. I think it would be great for her to come down [to India].”
Priyanka looked very impressed with Lady GaGa. Says PC, “It was great to see her, her voice surprised me, she has a great voice live!” Priyanka said. “I loved the way she connected with her fans, people really connected with her and her message ‘be proud of who you are,’ it’s a great message.” The concert made Priyanka nostalgic about her performance at Madison Square Garden, “When we did shows at Wembley and Madison Square Garden a few years ago, it’s an amazing feeling to be on stage.”

Uncomfortable in a mini, Deepika switches to shorts…
Deepika Padukone’s sizzling item number in Dum Maaro Dum is getting hotter and hotter by the day. It seems, DP’s outfit for the song was a sexy bikini halter-top paired with the shortest skirt designed by Anahita Adajania Shroff. News also had it that, Deepika worked really hard to look her best in that outfit. However, after all the hard work, the actress finally decided to wear shorts instead of the sexy skirt, as she thought that the skirt was too short for her.
A source explaining the need for the change says, “The skirt Anahita designed barely covered the actress’s derriere yet looked stunning on her. During trials, DP received several compliments. Director Rohan Sippy had briefed her and she understood that the song needed sexy clothes. The trouble began when she started rehearsing for the song.
The steps were difficult to do because of the skirt’s length.”
The director was ready to change the dance steps so as to make DP feel comfortable in the skirt. But Deepika is not a person to give up. She insisted they keep the choreography and switch to shorts instead.
Adds the source, “She walked up to Rohan and told him there was no way she could move her legs and do the steps in the skirt. A consensus was reached and the outfit was changed soon after. The actress ended up wearing shorts and tassels over it to look like a skirt.”

Salman rides a tuk tuk taxi in ‘Ready’
Salman Khan looked intense in a biker boy makeover – leather jacket, tee and faded jeans – riding a taxi in Thailand for an action sequence for his upcoming film – Ready. Salman went an extra mile to add that special zing to Anees Bazmi’s comedy drama.
The 45-year-old star suggested an action sequence based on Thailands iconic Tuk Tuk taxies, a first for any Bollywood film.
The production team liked Salman’s suggestion and an action scene was spontaneously written and shot. It showed two tuk-tuks blowing up and the actor jumping into another one and driving off.
Producers, Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and Rajat Rawail, had to buy 3 Tuk Tuks especially for the scene since they would end up being completely destroyed. They happily did so, keen that ‘Ready’ live up to fan expectations created by Salman’s earlier action films – ‘Wanted’ and ‘Dabangg’.
Bhushan Kumar confirms, “It was Bhai’s idea to shoot with tuk-tuks which are very fast and powerful. He wanted to shoot an action sequence nobody has done before. People have shot romantic songs or scenes perhaps but such a high-voltage action sequence will be seen for the first time in ‘Ready’. People will enjoy this unique Thai action.”
An insider adds, “Salman drove the tuk-tuk expertly, although it was his first time doing so!”
‘Ready’ is slated for release on June 3.

John Abraham’s passion for bikes is well known. But lately the actor seems to have developed a thing for cars. Though he already owns an Audi Q7, he has acquired another pair of wheels. These days Johnny is seen zooming in his black Audi R8 that is a sports car.
By the way, Ranbir Kapoor also owns the same car.
Bips lands in trouble because of Twitter pic…
Bipasha Basu posts pic of little girls tying her shoelaces on Twitter. The pic has met with overwhelming outrage. Basu says of the girls in question, one’s a sister, the other a friend. But her fans and followers, refuse to believe.
Displaying a picture of her feet with two young girls bending over to tie her shoelaces, Bips wrote, “I need to learn to tie shoe laces ASAP! Embarassed that I can’t! No patience.. grrrrr! Promise I am not spoilt! Will learn soon,” and tagged it with the picture.
Her this tweet and pic was followed by a bombardment of comments about child labour. Under pressure, Bips hastily deleted the tweet but forgot to erase the picture. It was only later that the photo went missing from her micro-blogging site.
‘Sorry y’all!’ She later tweeted, “Well the people helping me in the pix are my friend and sister, who I help often with the same! So am sorry if it hurt anyone’s sentiments!”
