Box Office Reports…

Madhur Bhandarkar’s latest release “Dil To Bachcha Hai Ji” starring Ajay Devgan, Emraan Hashmi, Omi Vaidya, Shazahn Padamsee, Shruti Haasan and Shraddha Das received mixed response from critics as well as audiences. The flick took a dull start at box office on Friday but picked up slightly in the evening. It had just 40% response at most urban places on Friday morning.
With good reviews coming the film’s way and audience reaction too ranging from decent to good with no one having anything contrary to say, Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji pretty much seems en route to turning into the biggest grosser ever for Madhur Bhandarkar after Fashion (which had netted Rs.27 crores).
Hopefully, the collections will rise considerably in the coming days.
Aamir Khan’s “Dhobi Ghat” on the other hand made a collection of Rs 13 crore in the box-office on its first week.
Dharmendra’s home production “Yamla Pagla Deewana” is doing well all over North India and the film is in the cusp of making approximately Rs 50 crore after its two weeks.
