Sonakshi Sinha embraced the fall in a hot hue at a charity event for underprivileged women and children at Mayfair Banquets in Worli, Mumbai on Wednesday, October 20.
Sonakshi, 23, wore a tangerine cap sleeve anarkali kurta, shimmering nude churidar and golden strappy heels. Her long dark hair, styled in loose waves, draped her shoulders.
The nose pin was back on. She wore a red lipstick and golden bindi.
Band Baaja Baaraat lead stars in an ugly spat with co-passenger on board..
Actress Anushka Sharma and newcomer Ranveer Singh got into a spat with a co-passenger on board a Kingfisher Airline Flight after the latter allegedly clicked their photos on his cell phone.
Anushka and Ranveer who’ll be seen together in the upcoming Yashraj film Band Baaja Baaraat, were flying from Mumbai to Delhi when the verbal duel broke out between the couple and the co-flyer on Tuesday morning.
Since Ranveer suspected the co-flyer of having clicked their photographs, he demanded to see his phone. But the co-flyer, who claimed to be an IAS officer (but was not), refused to show his mobile.
When the matter got out of hand, the plane’s captain called in for security. When the flight landed at 8.27am at Indira Gandhi International Airport, a heated argument broke between Ranveer and the co-flyer, named Khanolkar.
The two were then sent to the Palam Vihar police station while Anushka stayed back at airport lounge. At the police station an officer checked Khanolkar’s phone and didn’t find any images of Anushka and Ranveer. The matter was settled there and then.
Sara Khan’s guy in Bigg Boss…
After the bindaas entry of actress Dolly Bindra in Bigg Boss 4, buzz is that Sara Khan’s beau Ali Merchant, who is seen in the TV soap ‘Bandini’, is also set for a wild card entry in the house. Isn’t it getting spicier in there!
Ever since Dolly’s entry in the house, things have become pretty tense. She already has had a good verbal fight over the kitchen captainship with Shweta Tiwari and has stirred up the proceedings inside the house which were otherwise getting placid.
Earlier, Sara Khan tore Ali’s pictures on the show and was seen getting intimate with Ashmit Patel. If Ali enters the show, it’s obvious that tension will rise between Ashmit and Sara, and the viewers will love it. In fact, some from the telly world even claim that he is Sara’s husband. Salman Khan is expected to enter the Bigg Boss house this Saturday as there is no eviction this week.
Aishwarya is Hrithik’s all time favorite …
Needless to mention, the dashing Hrithik Roshan and the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan certainly set the screen on fire with their amazing chemistry. The fact is that the audiences simply adores their ‘jodi’. No wonder there is so much expectation from their next release, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s GUZAARISH.
Although in the film both Aishwarya and Hrithik essay roles that are quite contrary to their on screen image but that has not deterred the excitement of their fans who are waiting eagerly to see these two together once again and create magic like they did before.
Lead actor Hrithik Roshan reveals that he was more than happy when he first heard from director Sanjay Leela Bhansali that Aishwarya was likely to be his co-star in the project and instantly gave his approval saying that Sanjay’s decision of picking Aish for the role was right. And without any diplomacy Hrithik states that that Aish is his favorite and that he is extremely comfortable with her. He also elaborated the reason as to why, saying that their approach to work is the same and so they both enjoy working with each other.
Certainly GUZAARISH would indeed be a spectacular experience for all and especially for Hrithik-Aish fans.
Salman sees no signs of cure to his ‘red eye’
Whether it’s a terrible eye infection or his dog pounced on him or apparently a cosmetic surgery to get rid of his eyes bags, Salman Khan’s red eyes are taking more-than-expected time to get cured. Now the problem is that he can’t continue with the shoot of his film Ready which stars Asin opposite him.
As per reports he was supposed to start shooting for Ready’s second schedule by October 24 in Mumbai but because of his eyes he couldn’t do so and thus the shooting got postponed till November. The first schedule of Ready was shot in Sri Lanka amidst much hullabaloo created by the south film fraternity.
Salman has requested Anees Bazmee, director of the film and also a good friend, to start the second schedule only after his eyes are normal. A few days back at the Dabangg DVD launch, explaining Salman’s absence, Arbaaz Khan had said that the star is suffering from conjunctivitis and later it was learnt that one of his pet dogs had injured him close to his eyes, making the situation worse.
Meanwhile, for Bigg Boss the star is shooting with his stylish, designer glasses on and it looks cool.
Dhoni saves Bips from mob attack…
During a function in Surat, Gujarat, on Monday, the security bandobast for Bipasha Basu fell apart after hundreds of overexcited male fans descended on the venue.
The mob surrounded Bipasha and some male fans even tried to touch her. Seeing this, Indian cricket captain M S Dhoni, who joined her for the promotional event, came to her rescue. He and a guard formed a cordon around Bipasha and led her through the mob.
But the unruly bunch of fans still kept on passing comments, some lewd, and tried to touch Bipasha. Like a true gentlemen, Dhoni ensured that nothing untoward happened.
However, in the pushing and shoving Bipasha did get a bruise on her forehead. But if Dhoni had not been there, the unruly mob might have done the unthinkable.
Well done, Dhoni!
aamir-Priyanka flicks clash!!!
An Aamir Khan film gets seat bumps in theatres – that’s for sure. So it’s understandable that director Vishal Bhardwaj is wary of competition from the superstar’s film Dhobi Ghat.
Everyone’s waiting for the next film starring Aamir Khan. It’s been close to a year when cine buffs last saw him on screen in 3 Idiots. The actor’s next film, Dhobi Ghat, directed by wife Kiran Rao, was earlier slated to release on February 25, but now it has been pre-poned by almost a month.
Reports say that due to the Cricket World Cup in February Aamir has decided to release Dhobi Ghat on January 21. But that’s also the date finalized by Vishal Bhardwaj for the release of his film Saat Khoon Maaf starring Priyanka Chopra as a serial hubby-killer.
So a clash between Aamir and Priyanka seems inevitable unless UTV, which is linked to both the movies, does a little shuffling in the release dates to avoid the clash.
Since Aamir is unlikely to change the release date of Dhobi Ghat, UTV will try to persuade Bhardwaj to release Saat Khoon Maaf on another date.
