Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is gaga over his wife Twinkle Khanna despite many years of married life.
But the Khiladi, Akshay remains ‘full fida’(floored) on his wife Twinkle. Akshay was recently seen making his love for wife public during a magazine launch.
After seeing her wife on a latest magazine cover, Akshay could not resist and said he is very lucky to have such a stunning wife.
Akshay Kumar is really proud of having Twinkle in his life. She is one of the best looking star wives as she styles herself in a stunning manner.
Twinkle appeared on the cover of the November issue of Harper’s Bazaar that focuses on the theme of ‘fabulous at every age’.
Shilpa graced the ramp for Tarun Tahiliani’s designs at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week
Glamour was certainly on the agenda when Tarun Tahiliani’s designs graced the ramp on the final day of the Spring-Summer edition of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week(WLIFW ). Expectedly, the collection oozed of glamor as it had two Bollywood glam dolls, Shilpa Shetty and Chitrangada Singh sashaying down the runway as showstoppers in the grand show.
More of Indian elements were witnessed at the show. While Shilpa scorched the ramp in a white lehenga and a net tulle bodice, Chitrangada Singh looked the quintessential Indian beauty in a crystal embellished silk blush sari.
Talking about Tarun’s collection, Shipa stated, “Tarun has been like family to me. He is absolutely adorable. What is the best thing I like about him is that he brings out a new avatar in me every time and I love to walk for him.”
“Every time, I walk for him, he seems to bring out a different avatar in me,” further added Shilpa.
Dolly Bindra ignored in Bigg Boss house
Dolly Bindra’s wild card entry in ‘Bigg Boss 4′ house is definitely a big blow to Shweta’s ego. Till recently, Shweta was a lone contender for the captain’s position in ‘Bigg Boss’ kitchen, but now, it looks like Dolly has chose to compete with Shweta by conquering her territory (kitchen of the house). The fact that Dolly and Shweta are arch rivals is known to everyone.
Dolly yesterday suggested some changes in the work structure of the house. Taking her suggestions into consideration captain Manoj Tiwari called for a poll to choose the best captain for the kitchen. This small poll led to a big cat fight between the ladies. Soon Dolly was seen dragging personal issues into the fight. Gradually both of them started accusing and alleging each other.
The fight left Shweta totally shattered. After the huge fight all the inmates in the house under the captaincy of Manoj Tiwari decided to boycott Dolly. They were upset with Dolly for using abusive language during the fight.
While all the inmates decided to boycott Dolly from all the task and talks in the house, Rahul Bhatt was seen supporting her. All the contestants have decided to mass nominate Dolly for the next weeks elimination round.

Salman stops Guzaarish lead pair from entering Bigg Boss house
Salman Khan just cannot seem to forget his torrid romance with Aishwarya Bachchan. Recent rumours suggest that Salman has clearly forbidden Ash and Hrithik Roshan from coming to the Bigg Boss House to promote their upcoming film Guzaarish. Apparently the lead actors were suppose to promote their new film. But Sallu nipped their plans in the bud.
Both Salman and Ash have moved on since their highly dramatized (and televised for that matter!) breakup. However, the Dabangg Khan does not want to maintain professional liaisons with the beautiful Aishwarya anymore. This is one of the many times when Ash’s career is taking the hit for her eventful past. A TV promotion on Bigg Boss 4 could have ensured a high initial box office collection for Guzaarish.
The producers of Guzaarish played this incident down and said that they will find other avenues to promote the upcoming film. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has a lot of faith in his film and he is sure that the audience will love the film.
Aishwarya also had her share of revenge when she refused to turn up for a special ‘KBC’ episode because the money will go to Salman’s ‘Being Human’ charity foundation. Aishwarya was slated to appear n KBC with her Action Replayy co-star Akshay Kumar but she backed down after discovering the ‘Being Human’ connection. We hope that these two superstars bury the hatchet at some point of their lives and start being courteous to one another.
Ugly verbal spats between Abhishek and Prahlad
Verbal spats in Bollywood is not new to anyone. Almost every second person from the industry has been into some verbal spat or the other. Examples of this are dime a dozen in the industry.
The latest one is something which can be called as a most unlikely one. It started off with the celebrated ad man Prahlad Kakkar speaking at the Mumbai Film Festival. He started off at the forum saying “Why use a good actor when you can have a nephew? And if you have to create stars anyway, why not from the family? It is hence very difficult for men to become stars. But since Bollywood does not want their women to be in films, females have a better chance of becoming stars or starlets. Men stars are usually useless nephews and sons,” he said at a forum.
No. He did not end there. He went on to ‘cite an example’ in the form of Abhishek Bachchan. He said, “Abhishek Bachchan has 17 flops in a row and is still going strong. He is unique and should be in the Guinness Book of Records.” Needless to say that, this statement garnered an uproarious laughter from the gathering.
Retaliating to this, Abhishek tweeted “I love Prahlad Kakkar, he should be a stand-up comic not an ad-filmmaker. May be then someone will take him seriously! This coming from a man who makes commercials with his own son. Hmmm. Oh ya, Prahlad, I’m already in the Guinness book of world records and a very proud son. I hope you give your sons an opportunity to say the same someday.”
Preity Zinta gets a Honorary Degree by a London University…
Bollywood’s dimple girl Preity Zinta will be getting an Honorary Degree by a London University.
Priety has done more than 30 films in Bollywood as well as Telugu, Punjabi and English language and will be honoured in the University of East London on 31st October, 2010.
The University has announced to honour Preity for her performance in films like ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ and ‘Veer Zaara’.
Priety started her career with Mani Ratnam’s ‘Dil Se’ in 1998 followed by a role in ‘Soldier’ in the same year.
Her first international film role was in the Canadian film ‘Heaven On Earth’ for which she was awarded the Silver Hugo Award for Best Actress at the 2008 Chicago International Film Festival.

Vivek weds Priyanka
Phew!!! Finally, Vivek Oberoi and Priyanka Alva got married on Friday evening at the Alva farmhouse in Bangalore.
Vivek arrived at the wedding venue in a Mercedes along with his parents and baraatis at about 5.45 pm. There were dhols, baaja, firecrackers going off as the baraat entered the venue.
The 34-year-old actor was dressed in a heavily embellished maroon sherwani and a turban. He then mounted a mare and, accompanied by the baraat, he rode around the venue like a true-blue dulha.
The wedding was solemnized according to Hindu rites amid the chanting of verses from Holy Scriptures.
Hrithik-Suzzane at the premiere of Breast Cancer docudrama ’1 a Minute’
Hrithik Roshan and his gorgeous wifey Suzzane Roshan stepped out for a cause, and in sizzling style, for the premiere of Breast Cancer docudrama “1 a Minute” in Mumbai on Wednesday, October 27.
Dressed in a black Velvet jacket, faded jeans and white tee, Hrithik sent hearts aflutter. While his gorgeous wife Sussanne looked an absolute stunner in a single shoulder dress and animal print shoes.
The film’s premiere was organized by Priya Dutt in association with Nargis Dutt Memorial Charity Trust (NDMCT), but Priya’s brother Sanjay Dutt was a no show.
Portions of profits from each ticket sale of “1 a Minute” will be donated to NDMCT with the aim to raise awareness and supporting the social cause in India.
The Namrata Singh Gujral directed and produced film will release on October 29 across PVR cinemas.
The movie stars Breast cancer survivors like Lisa Ray, Barbara Mori (Kites), Mumtaz (yester years Bollywood sensational actress), Namrata Singh Gujral (Americanizing Shelley and The Agency), Olivia Newton-John (Grease), Jaclyn Smith (Charlie’s Angels), Melissa Etheridge (An Inconvenient Truth), Diahann Carroll (Claudine), brothers Billy Baldwin (Backdraft) and Danny Baldwin (VAMPIRES), whose mother is a survivor and finally Priya Dutt, whose mother, the famous Bollywood star Nargis Dutt, died of cancer.
Asin’s biggest Birthday surprise!!!
Asin is one lucky female, who got to spend her birthday with her friends and family members. Three of Asin’s closest friends flew down from different parts of the world to be with her on her birthday on October 26.
Says the actress, “Can you believe it? Tanya from Liverpool, Rose from Australia and Priya from New York co-ordinated among themselves to be in Mumbai for my birthday. We go back a long way. We were in school together. It was my biggest surprise to see them here for my birthday.”
For two full days Asin and her three pals whooped it up. “My friends decorated my entire apartment.Together with my parents they made my birthday so special. It’s very important to have your family and friends from outside the industry. This place can get lonely.”
Asin is back in Mumbai and on the verge of signing some big Hindi films.
“It’s ironical that my parents moved to Mumbai so I could pursue a career here. But now I’ve been out of Mumbai in recent months and they are alone in the city. Now I’m back. For good. During my birthday I make sure that I’m with my parents every year.”
Salman Khan soon to host Dus Ka Dum…
Salman Khan has been wooded by Sony Entertainment Television, to host the third edition of the Dus Ka Dum . Guess the show-makers realized that only Salman could attract viewers to the show because of his connect with the masses.
This time, the channel has agreed to the terms and conditions laid out by Salman. But we wonder if that means the end of Bigg
Boss journey for Sallu.
Salman’s equation with the channel dwindled when the Sony refused to give a pay hike to the actor, even when the recession was over. The actor had generously taken a fee cut, during the time of recession.
But now it seems all is well since Salman has agreed to host the show. Talking about how the two patched up, a source told a daily, “The broadcasters told Salman, ‘Sir, we’ll do it as per your terms and conditions.’ Apparently, a lot of efforts were made to get a replacement for Salman but all in vain.”
“Considering Salman agreed to a fee cut in the second season, shouldn’t the channel telecasting Dus Ka Dum have given him a fee hike in the third season? Anyway, ‘10 Ka Dum’ is very dear to Salman; that was his first show on Indian television,” adds the source.
Katrina transforms from a Barbie doll to Lord Krishna’s Radha..
Bollywood barbie doll Katrina Kaif will soon be seen in a beaitiful avatar of Radha in a film on Lord Krishna. Titled Main Krishna Hoon, the film will have Katrina in a cameo.
Revolving around the life of Lord Krishna, starting from his childhood ‘leelas’ up to adulthood, the film will be directed by Rajiv S Ruia. Ruia is known for directing ‘My Friend Ganesha’. Katrina’s hairstylist Promila Hunter is set to produce a film titled ‘Main Krishna Hoon’.
Confirming the news, Katrina says, “Let it be a secret. But yes, I am doing this film on the life of Lord Krishna because my hairstylist Promila Hunter is producing the film. When she asked me if I would make an appearance I didn’t even ask her what my role was. Only later did I get to know that it is a film on the life of Lord Krishna.”
The actress will have a small role to play but Kat is taking it seriously as she wants to get into the skin of the character. For this, she has started reading relevant books to understand Lord Krishna’s story and his relation with Radha.
Apparently, Katrina will do this cameo for free.
Salman’s Diwali bash in Bigg Boss house…
Salman Khan has decided to spend the festive day with the housemates. He is all set to enter the Bigg Boss house and spend an entire day with the housemates for the special Diwali episode..
This is surely gonna add some spice to the show on Diwali.
Salman’s entry in to the house, has come as a relief to the residents as there wouldn’t be any eliminations this week owing to his special appearance.
