‘Dabangg’ sees Salman doing the Jalwa Dance
Salman plays police officer Chulbul Pandey, who is described as “fearless, corrupt, lovable and a bad-ass Robin Hood.” The action movie is set in Uttar Pradesh and it depicts the flaws of the system in states like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Aside from Salman Khan, Dabangg stars Arbaaz Khan, newcomer Sonakshi Sinha, Dimple Kapadia, Om Puri and Anupam Kher.

Shah Rukh and Gauri are the brand ambassadors for D’Decor
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri Khan have for the first time teamed up together to endorse D’Decor, the world’s third largest furnishing company, as its brand ambassadors.
‘I feel very humble and happy when any company signs me as their brand ambassador and so I am very happy to be part of D’Decor,’ Shah Rukh told reporters at the Taj Lands End Hotel where he and his wife were officially declared the brand ambassadors.
Gauri, who was also present, said: ‘I haven’t worked so hard ever, so after working for two long days, I slept last two days. It was a fantastic experience.’
Shah Rukh, like a sweet and protective husband, made sure Gauri was comfortable. He helped Gauri in the slightest of things like holding the microphone properly so that the media could hear whatever little she had to say.
Ajay Arora, managing director of D’Decor, decided to sign them as brand ambassadors because he felt they were the best examples of perfect homemakers.
‘We thought that apart from being celebrities, Shah Rukh and Gauri have made a wonderful home, both by decor and feeling, so we decided to make them brand ambassadors of the company,’ said Arora.

Size zero Bollywood diva, Kareena Kapoor is very happy with the little weight that she has gained recently. Laughing out all reports claiming her filmmaker friend Karan Johar asked her to shed weight for his movie, she say,
‘I read the report on the flight today (Tuesday). It is completely false. I am not going to lose any weight. I have gained a little recently and I am very happy with it,’ Kareena told reporters here at a press conference of her film ‘We Are Family’.
‘I am amazed Karan has told the whole world about it but has not discussed anything with me,’ she said sarcastically.
The actress, who claims the film is her 40th project, says ‘We Are Family’ has strengthened her bond with co-star Kajol.
‘I have always admired Kajol as an actress. We have worked together earlier in ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ but we had very few scenes together, but in this film, we got a chance to share a lot of time and you will find us together in almost every frame. We have become very close friends now,’.

Salman Khan makes Katrina Kaif emotional over breakup
According to The Times of India, Salman announced to the reporters during a recent interview that he broke up with Katrina but that they are still friends.
“I have broken up with Katrina. We were friends then for everybody, we are friends now. A relationship breaks if it gets stretched in different directions, or one person does not grow, or the other person takes a different path, or there is some misunderstanding or they have grown out of love,” Sallu said.
Kat was at the press conference for Etihad Airways. Everything was going smooth, but soon the lady was overcome with emotions when asked about her personal life.
“If Salman Khan has said he’s single, I’ve also said I’m single. I am single. But beyond that I don’t think I need to give too much of details,” Kat said. “If Salman says we’ve split, it must be true,” she added and walked out of the press conference shortly after.
If buzz is to be believed, Katrina started to cry backstage and vowed to make changes to what reporters are allowed to ask during press conferences!
“What happened was very, very disturbing. I had the entire congregation of media persons questioning me about a statement made by Salman. If for all these years I haven’t spoken about the relationship, why should I do so now? I won’t be bullied into talking about my personal life. I am going to take contractual action to ensure limits are not crossed at these events,” Katrina said according to The Times of India.
“Whether it is my personal or public space, I’ve noticed I allow people to take too many liberties. From now on my personal life remains out of public eye. And those who wish to share a personal equation with me better respect that,” she added.
Phew!! This sounds more than a drama to me… 
Priyanka is furious with Shahid Kapoor…
We are all aware of the latest Bollywood buzz that Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra are seeing each other. Now, grapevine has it that the power couple had a fall out recently, when Piggy Chops got to hear Shahid’s growing closeness with Asin. This news didn’t go well with Priyanka.
Shahid and Asin bonded really well over while shooting for an ad in Hindi and Tamil. It was the Tamil language, that led to this bonding. Since Shahid does not know Tamil, the ‘Ghajini’ actress was seen teaching him with great interest. They shared a good camaraderie.
“The ad that we were shooting for was in Hindi and Tamil. I could manage it as I know both the languages. But Shahid was struggling with the Tamil part of it, so he took my help in getting the language right. He didn’t know Tamil at all, so the entire exercise turned out to be a fun session,” Asin told.
The situation took a turn when when Priyanka made a surprise visit to her boyfriend Shahid Kapoor. The actress turned pale on seeing Shahid sharing good rapport with Asin.
“Priyanka was not very comfortable seeing Asin and Shahid’s easy camaraderie,” says a source.
Hope things get well soon between the two.
‘We Are Family’ is not a copy…
Director Siddharth Malhotra, talking about his latest upcoming flick, We Are Family, says that though they have purchased the official rights of Hollywood movie Stepmom, the film is an adaptation and not a remake.
The story is about Maya( Kajol) who is the perfect mother. Her life revolves around her three childeren, Aleya ( Aachal Munjal ), Ankush ( Nominath Ginsberg ), and Anjali ( Diya Sonecha ). Despite being divorced from her husband, Aman ( Arjun Rampal ), Maya ensures that everything runs smoothly in her house, under her watch, and that they continue to remain a happy family. However, when Aman introduces his girlfriend, Shreya ( Kareena Kapoor ), a career oriented woman, to the family, the entire situation takes an unexpected turn. There is then an incident which changes their lives drastically, bringing the two women under the same roof. Hence, the tagline, Can two mothers make a home?

Bollywood Style Check…
Deepika was in Manish Malhotra sari at the Retailer awards. Must say she has a figure and body language to carry a saree so well. The make up didn’t impress me that much. It looks so oily and greasy.
Also the pearl jewelery didn’t work very well with her outfit. Either diamonds, or stones like kundan or emeralds would have gone well.
My rating for her over all look will be 7 on 10..
