PVR Pictures and Anil Kapoor (AK) Films Company’s forthcoming film Aisha is slated to release on 6 August, 2010.

Directed by Rajshree Ojha and starring Abhay Deol and Sonam Kapoor, the film is an adaptation of Jane Austen’s novel Emma. The film has been shot in Delhi and Rishikesh besides the sets in Mumbai.

Sonam plays the role of a high society girl. The film also stars Cyrus Sahukar and Ira Dubey.

    Are you serious? Have you even seen his film DEV D? It got accolades and was the choice after Delhi 6 to be India’s nomination for the Oscar’s that year. Get you facts straight, dumbass.

    Comments 3 & 6 – we are all God’s creations and no one shud be called “ugly” – each person is blessed with at least one beautiful thing!

    Abhay is talented and a good actor – pity most of his movies don’t make it big. I don’t think Anil Kapoor wud hv cast Abhay opposite his daughter if he wasn’t sure of Abhay’s potential! I’m looking fwd to the movie.
