Zarine Khan: I can never wear a bikini

While Zarine Khan is getting major attention thanks to her good performance in Veer, the girl is taking the steps slowly in the right direction.
Zarine who was seen wearing fully covered dresses in Veer, is open to wearing modern clother for her upcoming movies.
She says, “I am more than willing to do so. What I am sure about though is that I would never be able to wear a bikini. That’s because I am constantly thinking that I am fat, I am fat, I am fat. Till the time this voice reverberates inside my head, I will always be apprehensive.”
Adding more about her weight she says, “I’m very conscious about my weight. In fact, during my school and college days, I used to weigh as much as 100 kilos. It’s only now that I weigh a lot lesser. I want to play all kinds of roles and get into the kind of attire that a Hindi film heroine is required to wear.
“However, before that I will have to get rid of all the excess weight that I currently have on me. It’s just a few more pounds to go and after that it should all be well.”
“Whatever role that I consent to play, it has to be done with dedication. However, I’m a new entrant and there are so many established actresses who are taking the size zero route. Obviously, I can’t beat them due to my body structure, but I wish to get into shape to the best of my ability.”
Good luck for your weight loss Zarine.
Rakhi fumes as Censor bans her Kamini song

Rakhi Sawant is angry with Censor board for censoring the word Kamini from her latest song with Ishq Bector Kamini Tera Bhooth Chadh gaya re.
Rakhi says, “I’ll wait for a week and then I go on a bhookh hartaal in front of the Censor office. I’ve sent a legal notice to the Censor Board. This is the first time something like this has happened. The members of the Board have done me an injustice by deleting the word ‘kamini’ from my song. Dharmendra has been saying the word ‘kaminey’ for years.”
Rakhi adds, “Vishal Bhardwaj’s Kaminey came, were they asleep? If Rakhi Sawant sings Kamini Tera Bhoot Chad Gaya Re, they get stung. The song has been produced by my company Faith Inc. and I’m being damaged.”
Tell her that the word Kamini is vulgar and she retorts back, “Kyon? In the trailers of Ishqiya they show Vidya Balan punch-drunk on television, and that too in a saree. Is that allowed in our culture? Ladkiyan khule-aam choli utaar rahi hai.
What was Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai? What were they asking? We all know what’s behind the choli. If that can be air played for years why can’t my song be telecast?”
She then talks about serials and says, “In serials, we have men dragging their wives by their hair muttering. ‘Kamini main tujhe chodunga nahin.’ No one pays any attention. Why point a finger at me? Stop all the malpractice on television and I too will shut up.”
What do you think folks the Censor board took the right action or wrong?

Zarine talks about her weighty issues
Zarine Khan has made critics wake up and take notice of her with her performance as Princess Yashodhara in Veer, however very few know that Zarine weighed more than 100kgs during her teenage years.
Zarine says, “I’m the only earning member of my family,.My father left us when I was 18 and I took to eating and binging to keep away the pain. But I hit the gym and knocked off those kgs when I decided to get into modelling.”
“Salman always says that I am destiny’s child and that is why I was chosen for this film. I was thin when walked into this film, but then I was told to go on a chocolate diet and gain weight, because princesses in those days were never skinny.”
Well Zarine needs to shed off her weight immediately as people have started to call her FATRINA (Fat Katrina).

All the Bollywood celebrities involved in the making of Phir Mile Sur talk about their wonderful experience and also about the original Mile Sur Mere Tumhara.
AMITABH BACHCHAN
I’m honoured that there’s been a gap of almost 23 years and still the makers of this wonderful commercial Mile Sur want to include me. Though circumstances may have changed, the words and the feelings of the song still remain the same. I feel good about it. Times of India has always been involved in many such nationalist, social, moral movements and I have had the great honour to being a part of it. I thank ZOOM for making me such a part once again.
SHAH RUKH KHAN
The first time I heard Mile Sur Mera Tumhara, I was around 20, yet the first thing that caught my eye was the visual appeal. It was more of a non preachy, personal patriotic song. It has a great secular feel and people are moved by it even now. I’m glad to be associated with this subtle yet powerful movement to be at secular equality with each other and stand united.
PRIYANKA CHOPRA
Mile Sur is as patriotic and moving as a song can get. It’s a brilliant initiative and I’m glad to be part of it. It was something I really admired and I used to look forward to watching it. I say we should sing it every morning when we wake up.
AISHWARYA BACHCHAN
I remember watching Mile Sur on TV and listening to the track. It was so inspirational. I was a kid in school and it was just overwhelming and impactful. It gave me gooseflesh; I remember it till this day.
ABHISHEK BACHCHAN
I used to look forward to it to see all these luminaries and celebrities of the country. Almost towards the end, Dad used to be on it and I would excitedly look forward. I remember growing up thinking how cool it’d be to be a part of it one day. Today, it’s even more wonderful, because I get to be part of Phir Mile Sur with my wife.
RANBIR KAPOOR
Mile Sur is like an anthem for every child who grew up watching DD. This song speaks about oneness; it’s been an important part of our country’s history, it’s feel-good, it’s emotional, it’s cathartic, and even after 20 years if you listen
to the song its will have same impact.
ANOUSHKA SHANKAR
Mile Sur is such an iconic piece of music. I’m 28 now and this is something I’ve grown up listening to and watching on TV. After seeing all those musical greats and then, specially being a part of this, as a musician, is such an incredible experience.
S H A N K A R – EHSAAN-LOY
We’re happy that Zoom and Times of India have taken this iconic song and redone it to suit today’s tastes, because no one can do it better than them.
SHAHID KAPUR
Mile Sur drew a sense of patriotism out of me; a sense of secularism and a reminder that we’re all the same. It was one of the more prestigious videos that came out; with the most eminent of personalities were in it.
SALMAN KHAN
It’s a brilliant concept that shows us how to get everybody on board and how to get everybody together. This song also underlines that we’re all on the same plane; that no one’s richer or poorer in emotion. No religion, caste, creed or colour is greater than the nation and the individuals of that nation. This song is like almost like a second anthem!
DEEPIKA PADUKONE
I remember Mile Sur being one of the first commercial message films my Dad shot for. When I got a call to be a part of the new version I was thrilled and called my parents, who were like ‘You MUST be part of it!’ I think it’s a great unifying thought for our diverse country.
