Sweet SRK’s sugary woes!
SRK is busy working on his next home production Ra1 and trying hard to get back his six-pack abs! Although he ate very little but he wasn’t losing weight!
A source reports, “He just couldn’t understand why, so he went to a nutritionist, who got him to write down his daily intake and they found the answer.
He used to have almost 20 cups of coffee everyday, which meant twenty spoons of sugar. Now Shah Rukh has his coffee black and no sugar.”
Hope his efforts are fruitful!
Neetu Chandra Fears Dying a Virgin!
Neetu Chandra failed to make a mark in B-town with her films but she is sure trying hard to be the talk of the town. Apparently she is mostly keeping home these days trying to shed weight and look good.
A source reports that Neetu often sighs, “I hope I dont die a virgin.”
Well, a good way to put across the point that she is a virgin… But we’re obviously not going to fall for it!
Shahid has changed for good says Ken Ghosh
Ken Ghosh who directed Shahid Kapoor in his debut film Ishq Vishq Pyar Vyar and directed his forthcoming film Chance Pe Dance, says Shahid has changed for good.
Ken admits Shahid was working on Chance Pe Dance simultaneously with Kaminey and Dil Bole Hadippa and there would be huge problems with dates.
“I’d ask for three days. He would have only one day to spare. I’d naturally be upset. Then understandably, Shahid wanted time off. He couldn’t be seen on my set straight after shooting for one of the other two films. This naturally led to heated arguments. For me as a director it was okay to come on the sets without sleep. But Shahid had to catch up on his resting time. Or the dark circles would have shown on camera. And since Shahid is fair-complexioned those dark circles would be even more visible,” says Ken.
Talking about how Shahid has improved as an actor Ken says, “Shahid’s dancing in Chance Pe Dance is the film’s mainstay. But his performance is not just about dancing. Some of the things he has done in the dramatic scenes took me by surprise. Shahid has brought subtle expressions into scenes which I didn’t catch while shooting. Only during editing I realized what he had done.”

Work stress makes Katrina unwell again!
Success doesn’t come easy. Katrina Kaif is working hard for it but at the expense of her health. She was quite unwell lately and when she got herself checked recently at a suburban hospital to discover a low haemoglobin count. But poor health doesnt keep Katrina from keeping her professional and personal committments.
A source reported, “On Sunday Katrina woke up unable to get out of bed. The worst blow to her frail energy level was the hectic wedding of Salman Khan’s close family-friend Krishan Narayan’s daughter which Katrina attended for two consecutive nights on Friday and Saturday for the sangeet and wedding.
Forgetting her delicate health, Katrina had simply let herself go, dancing and having a good time.
A friend explained, “It was a commitment she couldn’t wriggle out of. The bride’s father, an associate of politician Praful Patel, is a very close friend of Salman Khan. And Katrina who has always looked at Salman’s friends as her own, had to be there.”
The result of two consecutive nights of merry-making was a relapse. On Sunday Katrina had to undergo a series of complicated medical tests that went on the whole day
The friend continued, “Katrina’s haemoglobin count continues to plummet. The doctors are perplexed by this. They can’t figure out what is causing this abnormality in her blood. She has been prescribed complete bed rest.”
Poor Katrina… Perhaps Sallu Miyan should take a proactive step and take her off for a rejuvenating holiday!

SRK is amongst the 500 most influential Muslims worldwide
SRK was recently listed amongst 500 most influential Muslims in the world. The list has been compiled by Georgetown University and also includes Indian Muslims like former president Abdul Kalam and Oscar winning composer A R Rahman.
SRK talks about being listed amongst 500 most influential Muslims and says, “I don’t think a list of this nature is of a competitive type to feel proud about. It’s not about a list of awards that I have won. I am a Muslim by birth and because of the kind of cinema I do, I assume must be influencing lives of people across the world. I have been actively working in the film industry for 18 years and my work has gone across the world, my films and done well in many places including Germany, Poland, Dubai, USA, Morocco and South East Asia. People know me well because of my films but I never felt that I was different. I’m in the field of mass communication and am doing my work. That’s it.”
When he was quizzed about the reason he has been chosen, he said, “I think it could be because of the kind of films I do. I try to do films that have variety and are about goodness and hope. They give a direction to a life. I have done films on romances to patriotic dramas like Chak De! and funny entertainers like Om Shanti Om — films that try to give a kind of positive message to people. I hope in this I am able to influence the lives of many, especially youngsters and children. It’s about giving some kind of direction to their lives. Like I might tell my children to study hard or teach them how to lead a good life.”
When asked who is the most influential person in the world, SRK said, “Like every movie star’s influence changes with every B-O release, I think even across the globe people’s influence changes. Today, there is not just one global influence but a collective of influences. I don’t believe the world can be run by one influential person right now. The world has become too intelligent to be demarcated by one person. It’s the good thoughts of many. Like Bill Gates, Mukesh Ambani, Obama are very influential and wonderful in their field of work but collectively, they are fantastic.”
