Shilpa Shetty’s fiance wants to take his baraat to Shilpa’s home in a unique way, instead of riding a decked up horse ,he will arrive with the baratis in a chariot.

Shila-Raj have decided to tie the knot on November 22nd and Shilpa’s close buddy says, “Tarun Tahiliani has designed a wedding outfit that no bride in Bollywood or outside has ever worn before.”

“Shilpa’s mom consulted the astrological documents and found that the next auspicious date was not before April 2010. Shilpa’s first response was, ‘Not without my sister.’ But now that Shamita is well on the way out of Bigg Boss Shilpa doesn’t mind the rush, though she would be shooting until the very last moment for the Indo-Chinese production Desire in Hyderabad.”

Shilpa on her recently wrote on her blog, “To all those who want to know how I am feeling, I just want to say I’m going through a lot of mixed feelings – happiness, excitement, nervousness, just like any bride to be and sadness as well.”

Shilpa-Raj wedding will be a traditional Mangalorean event.

    I happened to read an email that was forwarded to me by a responsible person, just to give me an idea of how aggressively the celeb game is being played these days. It was from a big fish flogging the rights to various functions that had anything at all to do with his own forthcoming wedding!!!! He was offering juicy details and tantalising teasers about every ‘event’ associated with the ‘shaadi’, starting with his formal proposal ” on bended knee.” How unique and original is that, I ask. He’d also provided payment details of the gigantic rock he’d be giving his lady love, helpfully adding he’d speak to the jewellers about an ‘exclusive’. The price he quoted for the ring could buy an island in the Carribean. It made me wonder if the man was plain smart or entirely besharam. If the mags had been crazy enough to actually bid for and buy his story for the price he was demanding, he’d have got the engagement ring and his high profile wedding for free!! I guess some editors have better sense than to fall for such a Cheap Charlie’s ghatiya tricks. He was told to go flog his two bit ‘exclusive’ to some other bakra. So far, nobody is biting. Who knows, he may peddle the rights to his suhaag raat next!!! Now that would be something given the yummy bride.

    What shilpa does not understand, is that once she gets married to her ugly fiance, nobody will care anymore about her. Newspapers and Bollywood love single girls. They love speculating about their love affairs. That kept her in the news along with controveries. Once the wedding is over, she will stop being exciting and maybe even stop being sexy for some people. Marriage can be a turn-off to many. She will become like Karisma Kapoor, married to an ugly non-celebrity businessman. Nobody cares about Karisma for many years now, nor for her ugly husband. Same will happen with Shilpa. She already has NO bollywood career, and any chances of resurrecting her career with The Man and Desire movies that she has lines up, will fail. Both movies will flop. The audience don’t want to see married women as lead characters. Unless you are Aishwarya Rai with a celebrity husband Abhishek. Aishwarya, even as married, is in the news, manly because unlike Shilpa she keeps acting (while Shilpa only does business) and because her husband Abhi is famous. Shilpa hasn’t released a film in a gazillion years and her future husband is an ugly businessman. So nothing exciting about Shilpa anymore. Yes it is exciting now, her wedding dress and all that, because she is still non-married. But 2 weeks after her marriage she will be forgotten. Men who yearned for her, will stop thinking about her. And producers who might have wanted to sign her for some movies, will now refuse to sign her. And newspapers will no longer be able to speculate about her love affair because she will be married. So no one will care about Shilpa after her wedding. Hope she realizes what she is giving up for that ugly cheating devorcee of hers (Raj). Jesus Shilpa, at least find yourself a super sexy 6-pack husband to keep you in the news. A sexy husband who might be able to join Bollywood and become a celebrity as well. That would create headlines and keep Shilpa famous as well. That ugly Raj, is that the best Shilpa can do with her ultra-sexy body? Really. No sexy men want Shilpa? All she can get is an ugly fat man. wow. How embarassing for her.
