Saif:Kareena need not convert after marriage

In a recent interview, Saif Ali Khan was asked whether Kareena Kapoor would become a Muslime after marriage, however Saif doesn’t want his girl to convert for him.

Saif says, “I would never want her to change her religion. That is the trouble with religion really it expects conversion. I don’t buy or believe that any more. I think it’s good that the government has – unless I’m misinformed about the law – amended it to include it in the Special Marriage Act. If and when we do get married no one has to change his or her religion.”

When quizzed further,whether his family would like Kareena to continue being a Hindu, Saif said, “Certainly. And so they should be because it’s such a personal thing. I mean if you wanted to take someone’s daughter and make him or her into Muslims or say someone wanted to convert me into a Jain, my mother would be worried. You must be loyal to your home”

    well acording to islam, a muslim man can only marry a muslim or either marry a christian or jew. but islam does not allow muslims to marry hindu becoz we dont believe in same god. its a rule set by ALLAH, which us muslims should not break. therefore i think kareena should convert. But then wot differences wil it make coz after marriage even if she does convert, her soul wil not let go off her religion.

    This is about Bebo and Saifu.
    1st Bebo’s family would have a major Tiff if she were asked to convert.
    2nd things wouldn’t work out between them if he asked her to convert.
    3rd She shouldn’t have to cause he’s not a devout Muslim.
    4th I think if they are really in love than they are totally past this and what the world says doesn’t matter as long as they are happy with each other and that is what it looks like. So Very Good Luck to them both!

    But, Saif is making his religion a 2nd priority and that doesn’t look too good as a Muslim but now these days who cares. Right?
