Lara Dutta is Amitabh Bachchan’s Love Interest!!!
Big B gets to romance yet another young girl after Nandita Das, Tabu, and Jiah Khan, and this time he has Lara Dutta to play his lady love.
He will be seen in Pritish Nandy’s next movie ‘The Actor’ where he plays the title character as Ashmit Bhargava who is a top star and the movie is said to be based on the actor’s life.
However, the movie won’t be solely based on the pair’s relationship. “The age factor is of no consequence to the plot,” said Nandy, “It won’t even be mentioned in passing, they’re just a happy couple.”
‘The Actor’ is directed by Kushan Nandy (Pritish Nandy’s son) and is produced by Pritish Nandy Communications.

The poster of nude Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor got into trouble in Mumbai, as angry Shiv Sena workers covered Kareena’s nude body with a saree.
Shiv Sena chief Jitendra Janawale asks, The scene in question is totally against Maharashtra’s Hindu culture. No sooner the posters were put up all over the city, we got lots of complaints from people, esp. from the concerned parents of school children, stating that the said posters were in bad taste. We have anyways issued a strong warning to the filmmakers through the media. We want all the backless posters that have been put all over the city to be removed as soon as possible. Failing which, we shall protest against the film when it releases.” “How are such obscene posters being allowed by the authorities.everal women and children pass by the posters. What effect will it have on them.”
Janewale said, “We will soon visit Kareena’s residence and present her a saree.”
Talking about the issue, Kareena only said, “I hope I like the colour of the sari.”
When some women workers gave a visit to Bebo’s house to present her a saffron colored saree, the police stopped and arrested them.

Shilpa Shetty disappoints Shamita
Bollywood actress Shamita Shetty who was inside the Bigg Boss during elder sister Shilpa Shetty’s engagement with Raj Kundra,is upset that the engagement ceremony took place without her.
Shamita says, “I was really sad to hear that Shilpa was doing this when I was in a reality show and could not get out of there to attend the event. Shilpa’s wedding is a cherished moment for the family and that includes me too. It’s going to happen just once and so I did not want to miss out on anything. I felt really horrible and disappointed that I missed her engagement.”
Shamita however understands that Shilpa couldn’t postpone her wedding because of the auspicious day,”She sent me a sweet handwritten letter in which she apologised to me by saying sorry many times. I cried a lot after reading the letter because I knew she wanted to wait for me but the circumstances made her go ahead with the engagement. I have forgiven her for making me sad.”
Shamita adds,”I wanted to spend every single day with her and I really broke down. I was thinking that I was throwing away the days I should be with her by being in a reality show. She would get married and go to London and then I won’t be able to see her when I want to. I wanted to spend as much time as possible with her. Shilpa has already organised people who will help me out with my wedding dress and other things. I still have to figure out what gift I will be giving her.”
Shilpa is tying the knot with Raj on November 22.She has invited Jermaine Jackson and Shane Warne as special guests for her wedding.
Hurman talks about Priyanka break-up
Hurman recently celebrated his 29th birthday and also gave a very emotional interview about breaking up with his girlfriend Priyanka Chopra.Hurman also gives a hint that Priyanka dated both Shahid and Akshay,read below:
Today is your first ‘single’ birthday in five years, how do you plan to celebrate it?
I have no plans. But let me tell you that I haven’t had a birthday party since I was 18. Every year, my sister or my friends throw a party for me. And I am hoping this year too, it will be the same.
You are turning 29 and you were in a serious relationship for five years… so am I right in guessing you are going to stay far, far away from a serious relationship now?
Yes, no more serious relationships for me. And when I do get married it will be to a nice Punjabi girl from Chandigarh that my mother selects for me.

Maybe. But that’s what I believe right now. Have even told mom about it.
Your mom and also your sister were rather close to Priyanka. Did their equation with her change?
No, they are friends and still talk. And my family is not like that. If they accept someone, then it is for life. And I am not the sort of person to tell them not to be friends or close to anyone just because I am not. Also, Priyanka is a lovely girl. We may not be close anymore but nothing changes that.
Did you go through the whole getting over a serious relationship by having meaningless trysts with whosoever was available?
(Laughs) You know how it is, when you are feeling down, your buddies take it upon themselves to pull you out of that hole you’ve crawled into. My friends too did that. They would drag me out and they’d ask a lot of girls out too. And we’d party all night. I don’t like to drink too much, when I do, I love shots and once you’ve downed a few, you and are willing to try anything.
Do you blame Priyanka for you both drifting apart?
No. I blame myself. She kept asking me to give her time but I didn’t. I couldn’t. After two flops, I felt a lot of pressure to do well in my third film. I got too engrossed in it. I got too close to the project. Too involved. In fact, Ashu Sir (Ashutosh Gowariker) used to tell me, ‘we are not used to people getting into our space. We don’t let any actor do that.’ But I crossed all boundaries. I was involved at every stage, every level. What’s Your Raashee was very important to me.
Are you happy with the way WYR shaped out?
Yes, I am happy that Ashu Sir was not disappointed after signing me, the critics gave me appreciation too. I wish the film had been successful as well. Right now I would take a hit over anything else, even praise.
So ultimately your relationship got sacrificed at the altar of success. A lot of people felt that Priyanka broke it off after Victory bombed. Have you ever believed that?
No. I have never believed that. And only two people know what went wrong between them. And I don’t think success of failure changes anything friendship of relationship.
It is generally believed that in your head you are a superstar. Has that changed?
(Laughs out loud) I would have to be put in an asylum if I still believed that after three releases. But yes, I know people believed that of me.
And with good reason?
Maybe so. Maybe my attitude was wrong. (Thinks) I was new to the industry. I was told to behave in a certain way by people who have been here longer, and that’s what I did.
You mean Priyanka?
(Smiles) No. But there are a lot of people who tell you what to say, what to do, how to behave. And because you are new, and you want to make a good impression, you try and be something. After a point, I realised that I just had to be myself, because I was not comfortable being something or someone else. What you see now, is the real me.
You recently went upto Shahid Kapoor and talked to him at a party. That’s a sign of maturity. Ho much did that have to do with knowing that he and PC are no longer together.
No. (shifts uncomfortably) I just felt like talking to him. And he was equally warm. I have to say that it was not weird at all because of the way he was when I talked to him. I have known Shahid. When he was with Bebo, we often went on double dates. And he is a really nice guy.
You never watched Kaminey?
I couldn’t bring myself to see it.
Because it’s on the set of this film that it all started?
Hmm… I just didn’t want to see the film. I thought I would be okay, but as the day kept coming nearer, it was all around and therefore, harder to bear. I just booked tickets and left the country. I have three friends from different parts of the world. We all met in Sicily and had a blast. And by the time I came back, I was ready for anything.
Isn’t it true that you were at a party and someone played Dhan Te Nan, and your friends rushed over and had the DJ change the song?
(Grins) Yes, my friends did that. It was hard for me to even hear the songs of that film.
So… ready to see it now?
No. I don’t think I will ever see it. I still haven’t watched Aitraaz.
Must’ve been difficult to shoot WYR? with Priyanka?
Yes, it was. There was a lot of awkwardness. It was hard to see her talk on the phone and text. I knew what was happening.
One time, you broke down on the set one time, and Sunita (Gowariker) asked you to go home, right?
(Hesitantly) It was right in the beginning. We were all having lunch and she got up and left saying she wanted to rest in the van, and just before she left, I got a message saying that she will now make an excuse and leave. At that moment, it became real for me. Sunita saw how disturbed I was, and she just said: Leave. And I left without saying a word to anyone. I even left my phone sitting there on the table.
How did she break the news to you?
She hasn’t told me yet. She doesn’t accept it. She will never be able to tell me. Even when she is sixty.
Will it be awkward if you have to work with her again?
No, I don’t think so. We are both professional and nothing can come in the way of that.

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, the lead protagonists of Kurbaan entertained the audience at PVR Premiere at Ambiance Mall on 14th November.
Kareena looked stunning in a light colored Manish Malhotra dress and the couple are not worried about Kurbaan getting a A certificate.
Saif talking about A certificate said, “It would not affect the popularity of the movie like in the case of Race which was a superhit.”

Tum Mile Movie Review
Another one from the Bhatt-Hashmi camp, intriguing music, a drab love-story with Mumbai flood back-drop, peppered with smooches and squabbles, Tum Mile turns out to be a below average fare. Rating: 2/5.
This one is similar to director Kunal Deshmukh’s previous flick Jannat – a uni-dimensional story with two lovers succumbing to their weaknesses leading to a fall out in a so-called happy live-in relationship with ample love-making, song-singing and smooching! The story although well placed against the back-drop of the infamous Mumbai floods that led to colossal loss of life and property, is after all, average fare.
The Mumbai Flood is reduced to a mere narrative tool as good or bad as a couple of gundas abducting the heroine and getting beaten by the hero for an alls-well ending. The flood scenes are only 10 odd minutes long with no significance except for making the protagonists realize -’Why did we break up?’
Technically, the film’s cinematography is worth appreciating as Prakash Kutty bends and curves it to accentuate the emotional and visual appeal going along with the twists and turns of the story. The dialogues are well written and refreshingly crisp. Pritam’s music is chart-topping but too many songs are rather annoying.
Performance-wise, Emraan has not much to do, I’m afraid, two more movies like these and he’ll get stagnated and type-cast. Soha looks funny in intimate scenes with an expressionless face, in other scenes she essays her part well. She probably needs a makeover too!
Overall, the film lacks the impact. It is watchable, but only once!

Did the caustic comments about your weight finally get to you?
I won’t say that I was immune to them. But you see, I was going through a lot of confusion in my head on a lot of fronts. I started taking a few things for granted. I became complacent. And I lost interest. Till Kismet Connection, everything was going well for me and then suddenly…
Okay, what triggered off the need to lose weight?
Well, my mom sat me down and told me that I needed to feel good about myself. I think that I was trying to be someone else. I was desperately trying to fit into a certain mould (pauses)

(Looks up at the ceiling) It was not about my weight and clothes. Those caustic comments were coming because I looked unhappy. I was exuding a certain amount of unhappiness.
Why were you unhappy?
You know what…
What?
If someone who matters to you talks you down, it can break you. That someone whose approval mattered to me started to constantly find faults with me. It started reflecting on me. At that point of time, it was important to walk away from that relationship. I don’t want to take his name.
Hmmm… I get it. Shahid doesn’t want to work with you now.
(Interrupts) Did I say that that I want to work with him? (pauses)
