Big B and family launch Madhushala

Amitabh Bachchan and his wife Jaya Bachchan, along with son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai on Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s 102nd birthday anniversary paid tribute to the great poet at Bachchan Sandhya.

The Bachchan parivaar and Bharitya Vidya Bhavan collaborated to launch the book Madhusala – The House of Wine.Madhusala has poems by Harivansh Rai Bachchan and also paintings by Namrita Bachchan.

    Being the other son of Harivansh Rai Bacchhan why is he missing from this family potrait? BigB only wants to flaunt his “Khoka” Son while mentions only Namrita Bacchhan’s name. Talk about politics even within the family.

    Also why is “MADHUSHALA” translated as “THE HOUSE OF WINE” when MADHU means HONEY and not WINE. Is this the kind of faulty English translation we will find regarding Harivansh Rai Bacchhan’s hindi poems in this book?
