Aishwarya: Save the environment
Aishawarya Rai recently talked about the ways to curb global warming and making the earth a better place to live.
Aishwarya talking about the environment says, “In our own hectic lifestyles we make sure we are aware,in our trailers we are aware not to leave our make-up lights on all the time.”
Ash also talks about water, she says, “Water, is the simplest thing we all talk so often ,when we brush our teeth we just leaving the water on unnecessarily is an absolute waste.So constantly you just have to be aware, take note,every waking and walking minute of your life.”

SRK: Terrorism is a religion of satan
Shahrukh Khan along with tennis sensation Sania Mirza and shooting star Abhinav Bindra expressed their anger towards terrorism, branding it as a religion of devils.
SRK said,While all civilised religions celebrate and respect life this new barbaric terror religion loves only death and unfortunately all human faiths now face a challenge.Indian civilisation does not distinguish in terms of religion. We are an impossible achievement in the world and I’m very proud to be an Indian.”
SRK further says, “No one can have two viewpoints about terrorism. There is no religion of terrorism. I am often asked my viewpoint on this, maybe because I am a Muslim and I am very proud to be a Muslim.”
“But I have read the Quran, listened to the Gita, acted in Ram Leela… and learnt Christianity besides being a Muslim… My friends and I have worked on a film on Buddha (Asoka) and my wife is a Punjabi.”
The message of the evening was “Terror has no religion. Our solidarity, courage and resoluteness are the answer to the threat of terror” and the event was hosted by Nandita Das.

Eisha Kopikkar tied the knot with restaurateur Timmy Narang yesterday. The wedding took place at International Society for Krishna Consciousness Temple. Eisha wore a pink saree with a red dupatta for her wedding and Timmy wore a simple Mehendi color Kurta with a pearl necklace.

Big B and family launch Madhushala
Amitabh Bachchan and his wife Jaya Bachchan, along with son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai on Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s 102nd birthday anniversary paid tribute to the great poet at Bachchan Sandhya.
The Bachchan parivaar and Bharitya Vidya Bhavan collaborated to launch the book Madhusala – The House of Wine.Madhusala has poems by Harivansh Rai Bachchan and also paintings by Namrita Bachchan.
SRK to build a cricket stadium
Shahrukh Khan is not bothered about the Dubai low down, he is looking forward to build a stadium in Dubai.
SRK’s main aim behind building a state of the art stadium in Dubai is to help underprivileged cricket players, who are extremely talented but do not have much money to fund their dreams. SRK’s stadium will provide free coaching to all the upcoming cricketers.
A source says, “When operational, the ground will have all the facilities to host international cricket matches and even other global sporting events. SRK is a dearly loved Indian star in the country and this is his way of giving it back to them. He will frequent the place more often than what he used to. The place might also become a venue for his stage shows in that land.”
