Aishwarya Rai is quite busy and refused to be a part of Ashutosh Gowariker’s upcoming movie also starring her hubby Abhishek – Khelien Hum Jee Jaan Se because of her busy schedule.

Aishwarya says, “I don’t have the dates right now as my schedule diary is super packed. This film (’Khelein Hum…’) starts next month. So there never was that possibility.”

“And since Ashu (Ashutosh Gowariker) is a close friend and his main lead is my husband, they obviously knew it. So the discussion didn’t even arise.”

Ashutosh also confirmed the news about his Jodha, “I had not approached her (Aishwarya) for ‘Khelein Hum…’. Aishwarya, for me, belongs to a fairytale. She is a quintessential princess and by far one of the finest actresses we have.

“But we need to plan things in advance. She is extremely professional and hence I would never like to upset her schedules in any way. I’m very happy with the coming together of Abhishek and Asin.”

The period flick will show Abhi playing the role of freedom fighter Surya Sen.

Also in the pipeline are Abhinay Deo’s next film to be produced by Farhan Akhtar, and Vishal Bharadwaj’s next directorial venture.

    A filmi story took on a real life turn when 4 women, inspired by an Aishwarya Rai character, took to stealing and became bandit queens. They would spend their days as perfect wives and mothers – cooking cleaning and playing with their children – but when the sun had set, they would come out to play by themselves. The leader was Geeta and they were a gang of women thieves, inspired, they say, by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s role as Sunehri in Dhoom 2.

Faced with the choice of steadily decaying lives or giving themselves a chance for escape, they understandably chose the latter. “To survive and feed their families, they first worked as ragpickers and also committed some petty thefts,” explains DCP Aggarwal, “Then Geeta met a woman who motivated them to commit bigger crimes and gave them the example of Dhoom-2 in which a woman thief takes advantage of her gender.”

This is to clarify to whom so ever it may concern that it is not Kat who is talking on Twitter, it’s an impersonator,” said the statement from her publicist.

    Of late, Ash has been constantly contending with skeletons from her past. A few days ago, former boyfriend Vivek made news by claiming on Tere Mere Beech Mein that he had held the infamous press conference against Salman only to please Ash. The Bachchan bahu is believed to be very upset over Vivek’s comments on the show.
