Big B bows down in front of Sanjay Dutt

Well he hasn’t bowed down in front of him in reality, but for a crucial scene in his flick Aladin.

A source from the movie says, “An important part of the film’s narrative requires the character played by Amitabh Bachchan to surrender in front of Ringmaster, which is played by Sanjay Dutt. Though this was always a part of the script, there was all an around apprehension around the shooting of this scene. Sujoy and others feared how exactly would millions of Amitabh Bachchan fans accept this scene. For Sanjay Dutt too it was challenging since Amitabh Bachchan is too big a name to be kneeling down.”

However, the professional Amitabh is, he didn’t hesitate to shoot the scene.

Director Sujoy says, “That’s the beauty of working with Mr. Bachchan. He lets himself be driven as wanted by the director. We were a bunch of kids wondering how to approach Sir to do this scene and there he was game to do whatever that went well with the character. He has always stated that once he is committed to a project, he doesn’t protest on anything. This is why we could can such a crucial scene without any hindrance. It is indeed one of the highlights of the film.”

Amitabh is a Genie in Aladin movie and Sanjay Dutt is The Ringmaster/Jaffar.

Its not about professionalism its about respecting your older actors. As indians we should be proud of this. Kneeling down to get respect from some1 older then you might not be practiced as much now but its in our culture.

Mr Bachchan is a Legend and a great actor like Mr Dutt can see that even if fools like you think its a laughable concept.

Ha ha.. Us Indian people amuse me so much at times..

As an actor.. It’s ur job 2 do what is required of the role..

A good actor is always immersed completely in the role..

So in this case.. It would not be Mr Bachchan..

It would be The Genie bowing down in front of The Ring Master..

With all due respect 2 Mr Bachchan..

There’s no need 2 put him up on a pedestal 4 doing his job..

I commend him 4 his professionalism and 4 being a true actor..

But there’s nothing great about doing that (bowing down)..

I hope all our actors are professional enough 2 do the same..

Just imagine.. If he (or any other actor), had refused 2 bow down..

What then?.. Would we think that it’s fine, as he shouldn’t be doing it?..

We Indians need 2 get with the times..

While Indian actors are great.. They are not God(s)..

& also.. Sanju Bhai RULES!!.. :D..
