Salman: Don’t call me Bhai!!

This warning is strictly to all the strangers who meet Salman Khan, ‘coz no one is allowed to call him Salman Bhai apart from family and friends.

During a recent radio interview, the RJ called him Salman bhai, and Sallu sternly said, “Call me Salman Khan.”

RJ Siddharth says, “Salman doesn’t like the fact that people unknown to him also called him Salman bhai.

Just like Govinda doesn’t like being called Chi Chi by strangers. Salman also said that he only likes it when his close friends and family call him bhai. When I explained to him that I looked up to him as my elder brother, he softened and said that I could address him as Salman bhai for the rest of the interview.”

Guys from now onwards be aware of calling Sallu as bhai, unless and untill you are quite close to him.

Newaiz i guess if its a term that people close to him use to address him and its a personal thing then he’s entitled to ask someone not to call him that but its a really common thing like ‘bhai’ so i dont think it should really bother him – atleast he let the interviewer call him bhai afterwards!!

    #6 agreed. I think when someone calls you Bhai it’s with all the respect and if he really cared about his fans his would accept this honor and respect that come with the word Bhai. I have always liked Sallu but this is kind of hurtful. When we call him Bhai it’s all with Respect & Love. But then it is his choice but it’s also our choice to call him Bhai. If he wants to get to know us than that is his choice. His fans will always call him Bhai so tough Luck there “Sallu Bhai”.
