While Chitrangada looked stunning in a emerald color gown, Sophie chose to be bright with Alice + Olivia Asymmetric Orange colored Ruffle Dress. Salman hit and Wanted by friends
Salman Khan is back to being the talk of the town with his flick Wanted becoming a super-duper hit at the box-office and his friends from the fraternity are praising him.
Director and friend David Dhawan says, “Salman always knew when and where to strike. He was always very confident about ‘Wanted’ and this is the reason why he went all out to promote the film.”Forget first weekend collections; it was sheer havoc when Eid festivities began. Audience response inside auditoriums was unprecedented.”
Director duo, Abbas-Mustan says, “Salman may have done one or two bad films in recent times due to which it appeared to some that he was no more in the reckoning. They were mistaken though because he is beyond hits and flops.His strong fan base could sense from a distance that ‘Wanted’ was a film to watch out for and turned it into such a huge success.”
Brother of Boney Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor says, ” ‘Wanted’ is Salman’s one-man show. Yes, everyone involved with the film has done a fabulous job, but it is Salman’s pull that got the audiences into theatres. Otherwise director Prabhu Deva was making his first Hindi film while Ayesha Takia isn’t amongst the top three heroines that we have today.”
Singer Himesh Reshammiya says, Salman was a superstar, is a superstar and will always remain a superstar.”

Aish snubs,Julia welcomes
Julia Roberts is more welcoming and down to earth than our very own Aishwarya Rai, according to reporters who went down to their hotel to take their photos.
The India Youth Icon awards were held recently at a hotel, where incidentally Julia Roberts is staying with her kids, so when Aishwarya,Priyanka and Deepika arrived with their bodyguards – eight each, Julia freely lingered near the lounge without any security.
A source says, “She had breakfast in the restaurant, was spotted in the lobby with her kids and spent some time in the spa too.”
When the reporters went to Aishwarya’s floor, the security personnel asked them to immediately take a leave.
A security personnel said, “There are no celeb tantrums with Julia. She goes down for breakfast with her family. She’s a genuine star, the kind rare to find.”
Another source says, “Julia is Indian at heart when it comes to raising her children. She’s in the hotel just for her kids and she spends each minute with them. She’s either feeding them or taking them for walks, she’s involved with them. I’ve not seen a lot of stars doing that. Their children are generally the nanny’s responsibility – but in Julia’s case, even though her kids have nannies, when she’s around, she does everything herself, just like we all do.”
No wonder we call you Pretty Woman Julia, you not only have a pretty face but you have a pretty heart too. Go girl Go!
Sonam wants to eateat
Sonam Kapoor has had enough of dieting because she is craving to eat some spicy and good food.
Sonam who is currently shooting for flick Aisha in Delhi, says, “We’re shooting nights currently. And there are no places to go to that late.I wish I could just go eat. I want to have some food. I know my appearance on Farah Khan’s show has been talked about. And so has been my statement that Sanjay Leela Bhansali told me that I look like an Ajanta cave and that I shouldn’t lose my curves. But yeh Delhi hai mere yaar, I want to eat good food!”
Well go on binge Sonam, because we even love a chubby Sonam.
Rakhi: Elesh has an egg-like face
Rakhi Sawant chose Elesh Parjunwala her fiancee, amidst 16 prospective grooms on her much publicized Swayamvar and is now calling him an ‘Egg’.
Rakhi Sawant is back on the reality TV circuit,with NDTV’s desi version of Baby Borrowers, Pati Patni Aur Woh and she thinks that her egg-faced fiancee Elesh is scaring away their baby.
She says, “The kid we were given initially used to start crying whenever he used to see Elesh. I think that’s because Elesh has an egg-like face.”
Pati Patni aur Woh will air on NDTV Imagine from 28th September.
