Rakhi finally gets engaged
While their were many rumors that Rakhi would not end up with any man contesting in her Swayamwar, Rakhi chose Canadian businessman Elesh Parujanwala as the best match for herself at the grand finale of her show Rakhi Ka Swayamwar.
The couple exchanged rings and garlands as Rakhi blushed beside her new found love Elesh.
A source says, “Romance was high in the air as Rakhi and Parujanwala said ‘I Love You’ to each other while exchanging rings and vows during the glittering ceremony attended by the boy’s family members, besides noted choreographer Saroj Khan and celebrities from the TV world.
When asked why Rakhi chose Elesh over other finalists Manas and Chittiz, she said, “Elesh is honest.”
Rakhi before the engagement ceremony had said in an interview, “I’m not getting married, now. I’m selecting someone from the show to be my life partner. It’s more of an engagement.”

Shahid plays the Elevator Game
In a recent magazine interview Shahid Kapoor shared his views on what he will say to the actors/actresses if he ever shares the same elevator with them.
Vidya Balan: Vidya and I would just say hi to each other and make small talk.
Kareena Kapoor: I don’t know what I’d say to her when caught alone with her in an elevator.We were once very close.I was close to her family too.I guess I would enquire about them,especially about her niece Samaira,whom I adore.
Priyanka Chopra:Priyanka and I can’t stop talking.We’ll probably yak,yak,yak.She’ll probably lecture me that I should stop being shy and reserved and I’ll probably tell her how fab she looks in Kaminey.We’ll probably bitch about the lax security in our building.
Shahrukh Khan:I look up to him a lot so I’d like him to lecture me on how to better myself.I still remember the Pepsi ad we did together.There was Rani and him and in between them was me,looking like a Pappu.Someone made a rude comment and he took up a mike and said, ‘The next one who makes such remarks will be thrown off the set’.He didn’t have to take it up for me but he did.I still respect him for that.
Saif Ali Khan:I don’t know what I’ll say to Saif.We will discuss the weather I guess.
Aamir Khan:We’ll probably compare our abs as we both have worked quite hard on them.
Akshay Kumar:Akshay’s wife Twinkle did my first house and she did a fab job.Unfortunately, I have lost her number so I’ll probably ask Akshay fo that as I have just bought another house.
Amitabh Bachchan:I’m probably his biggest fan so I’d stare at him wide-eyes.It’s happened to me with Sachin Tendulkar.We were in a life together and I was so awestruck that I could’nt gather the courage to talk to him.
That’s “probably” quite interesting.

Love Aaj Kal’s Harleen is Brazilian
While everybody who has watched Love Aaj Kal is raving about the innocent Punjabi girl Harleen who in real life is a Brazilian model named Giselle Monteiro who couldn’t even speak Hindi.
Director Imtiaz Ali says, “She is actually a Brazilian girl named Giselle Monteiro. Why a Brazilian girl to play an old-fashioned Punjabi girl? Well, I was auditioning girls from all over the country to play the Punjabi girl opposite the Sikh Saif. I couldn’t find the right girl to play the 1965 ki ‘gali mein rehne wali ladki, purane zamane ki’.”
“Giselle came to me through dress designer Anaita Shroff. She was to play Jo, Saif’s Caucasian girlfriend in the second half. She wasn’t right for Jo.I turned and looked at Giselle and realised she is Brazil’s Harleen.”
However Giselle completely had no idea about Bollywood dancing, Ali says, “We wanted to put her through the paces with Sarojji (choreographer Saroj Khan), but it never happened. Sarojji didn’t have the time. For a foreigner to get the Indian ‘adaa’ right is very tough.”
Well Katrina Kaif has a competition now.
