i still feel there are some barriers between religion esply indus and muslims in some areas of india. my friend is indian muslim. she and her family have experienced simliar story to emraan hashmi while they stayed in india. i do believe it will take tym to tackle religion barriers……But yet it happens all over the world not only in india. peace. x

I applaud you Salman and SRK but let me give you a dose of reality….you were not discriminated against because you are two very big stars…to say prejudice and racialism and bias or whatever you call it….does not exist…is to say that you are ignorant and cut off from your surroundings..it is real and happening right under your noses…some of you may not like it..but..india is a racist country…all you have to do is look at the indian news channel..its there for everybody to see and trust me everybody does see it…i am an american citizen but i am also of indian descent…but people of india do not consider me indian because i am third generation…trust me…ask the mothers whose daughters were killed in the u.s by the parent or parents of an indian man[from india] who did not like that their son married someone of a different race or religion…please tell these parents that india is not racist with their caste system and their bramhins and their dalits and their penchant to cast out anyone who was not born in india…it happens here..in america….a hindu person will not go to a muslim person or a spanish or a black persons home…because religion and tradition tell them not to…india will never be….try as they might…a world power if they do not recognize that no matter who you are or what race or country you come from and do not discriminate against their own people regardless of your caste…that everybody is equal and treat them as such…even illegal people in the u.s have rights…when india starts to emerge from the past only then can she become a world power…………

I live in australia a very multicutural country and not much racism here. But its not everyday that two people from two different races marry each other. its not racism. its a ntural and instinctive desire.
