Emraan experiences communal bias

Emraan Hashmi was in a state of shock when he was not allowed to buy a house in Pali Hill, Mumbair because he is a Muslim.

Uncle Mahesh Bhatt saus, “Emraan did hear about these things but this was his first such experience. he was truly surprised, as he thought such things did not exist in a city like Mumbai.”

“While Emraan feels he was subjected to a communal bias, he has not painted everyone with the same brush. He has not has not generalized any particular community.”

Before actor Saif Ali Khan also faced such communal bias.
