SRK to dance at a wedding for 3 crore
With SRK’s IPL team Kolkatta Knight Riders on a losing spree, SRK is looking to buck up the losses by performing at a high profile wedding for a whooping Rs 3 crore.
SRK will take a break from losing KKR to come to Mumbai and to perform at builder Kanti Govani’s nephew’s wedding.
SRK will be performing with other Bollywood actors such as Rani Mukherjee, Emraan Hashmi and Bipasha Basu. While the sangeet ceremony will have Neil Nitin Mukesh, Celina Jaitely and Neha Dhupia.
With the whooping Rs 3 crore offer, SRK is the highest paid Item boy (the opposite of item girl) in Bollywood, aint’ he?
Karan,Kareena,Kajol gang up again
The K triumvirate last seen in Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum, Kajol, Kareena and Karan are back together for a forthcoming flick. The flick will be directed by Siddharth Malhotra.
A source reveals, “Kajol and Kareena have been finalized for Karan Johar’s forthcoming film, which will start once the actors are free from their on-going films.â€
The flick is loosely based on Hollywood super hit flick, Stepmom, which starred Susan Sarandon and Julia Roberts.
A source commenting on the casting of Kajol and Kareena says, “Karan, who is directing Kajol in My Name Is Khan is very happy with her work. The same holds true for Kareena, who is working opposite Saif Ali Khan in a project directed by Rensil D’Silva.â€
When Kareena’s secretary was asked about the same, he said, “Kareena would never say no to Karan.â€
Well K for Karan, Kajol and Kareena, but sans SRK, do you think they can create K3G magic again?

Not many know, that Paritala Ravi was the most feared politician from South India, who was assassinated in 2005. Ram Gopal Varman who is known for making politically hard hitting movie is making a movie on Paritala Ravi and his obvious choice is Vivek Oberoi.
RGV says, “After thinking hard on every actor both known and unknown, I have finally zeroed in on Vivek Oberoi as the most ideal choice to play Paritala Ravi.
He has remarkable intensity in his eyes which I noticed in the making of COMPANY, a voice which commands attention, an arrogance in his demeanour, an enormous power in his stance, and also a certain vulnerability which makes one instantly warm up to him, which is what is needed to fit in a role of Paritala Ravi’s profile.
“After a rough look-test done and when I saw the approximation of how Vivek could look like in different phases of Ravi’s life, from being a rebel in the jungles to a political strong-arm man, I was absolutely convinced that my search ended.”
The film will be titled Rakta Charitra and will be made into two parts.
Priyanka rules out politics right now
Sanjay Nirupam, Congress candidate who replaced Govinda opposite BJP’s Ram Nayak, wasn’t the first choice of Congress it was pretty lass Priyanka Chopra.
A source says, “The Congress wanted a glamorous and younger Bollywood candidate after Govinda for the prestigious Mumbai North constituency.
Someone who would connect with the young urban youth of the nation. Initially Priyanka didn’t say no. But then her bulk of film-related work got the better of her.
Shooting day and night and then putting in months of gruelling election campaigning and devoting quality and quantity time to her constituency seemed a bit much for Priyanka. She finally had to say no, although Soniaji was very keen.â€
However a friend of Priyanka says, “Priyanka doesn’t rule out politics in the future.
But this time she is neither contesting nor campaigning for any candidate. Besides her schedules taking over Govinda’s constituency seemed a rather daunting task to Priyanka.â€
Priyanka as neta, giving competition to pretty Priyanka Gandhi, how about that?
Kareena works 36-hours non-stop
Kareena Kapoor can give the energetic SRK a tough competition, as the leggy lass recently shot for 36 hours at a stretch without even a single break.
Kareena is currently filming Kambaqt Ishq, 3 Idiots, Mr and Mrs Khanna, Agent Vinod and Rensil D’Silva’s untitled flick.
A source reveals, “She just went rushing from one set to another, shooting continuously without complaining about tiredness or lack of sleep. The unit members of her films were saying this is what stars are made of.â€

Feroz Khan was quietly laid to rest at Johnson Memorial Graveyard by close family and friends. Close family who attended Feroz’s funeral included Hrithik Roshan, Suzanne Khan and Zayed Khan.

Emraan Hashmi duped
Serial Kisser, Emraan Hashmi recently lost around Rs 2 lakhs after some unknown persons misused his credit card.
Emraan only came to know about the theft when HSBC staff called him to enquire about the 11 transactions he made through his credit card, which amounted to Rs 2 lakhs.
However a shocked Emraan, immediately informed the police about the theft and blocked his card.
Emraan says, “I received a call from the bank informing me about the outgoings. I was completely stunned. Most of the 11 transactions had been for airline tickets, but I hadn’t made a single one of them. I immediately blocked my card. “
“It’s scary when such things happen. People tend to visit restaurants and pubs and hand over their credit cards without any hesitation. But I guess they can easily be misused. I want to figure out who is behind the theft and I want him punished”
Well I hope the bitter lesson learnt by Emraan is a strong lesson for us to learn so that we don’t face such circumstances ever in life.
