Bipasha says no, John says yes

Dusky beauty Bipasha Basu is proud of her color, and this is the only B-wood beauty you would never see endorsing a fairness cream, however beau John Abraham is stark opposite – the guy has just signed a deal to endorse a fairness cream.

A source says, “It’s not only a fairness cream,it’s also face care cream as well and that is why he’s going to endorse it!”

However some time ago, Bips made this statement, “You’ll never find me endorsing alcohol or fairness creams. Especially fairness cream, because I don’t like the whole penchant for fair skin. I was offered a product endorsement for a fairness cream ages ago, but I declined. In India, dark skinned girls are still subjected to taunts and pity. In the matrimonial columns, people still advertise for a fair bride. I’m dark skinned and very proud of that.”
