Salman to become a music director?
While music director’s are trying hard to turn themselves into actor, our Sallu bhai is going other way round.
Salman Khan who is multi talented is planning to take up music.
A source says, “While working on the music of Partner, Salman didn’t approve of a particular song and discussed the shortcomings of the song with Sajid and Wajid. Although the alterations were technically incorrect, the duo went ahead with the modified song which went on to become a huge success.”
“Salman has always taken keen interest in the music of all his films. He listens to the score and at times puts his foot down and makes sure that the music is altered according to his preference.”
Sajid-Wajid who have been associated with Salman since his Pyaar Kiya to Darna Kya time are all geared up to support him.
Sajid says, “Salmanbhai has a great sense of music. He always gives valuable inputs. We are encouraging him to become a full-fledged music director. We are also trying to get him to sing his songs. Wajid and I will assist him.”

SRK now a television producer
SRK is back to square one, he was known as a great actor and host on small telly and now he will be known as a great producer as he ventures into making a serial called Ghar Ki Baat for small television. Read his interview below:
You are back on television once again but this time as producer.
Yeah…I started my acting career with serials like Circus and Fauji. I got to learn a lot of things. I got into films because of having worked in serials.
After Circus, you are once again working with Aziz Mirza on the television front.
Yes. Nothing would have been possible without Aziz Mirza’s expertise, advice, and guidance. I would have been nowhere without him.
What made you venture into TV when low TRPs have become the order of the day?
You need support and friends who think alike. We have been discussing this since last two-three years. There is risk for sure but NDTV Imagine was confident that we were competitive enough. I want the young people in my film production house Red Chillies to diversify into different arena.
What kind of programmes will your production house churn out?
There is nothing specific that we are planning for television. I have been a film producer for the last eight to nine years and have an acting experience of 20 years. I can bring a difference to television in terms of presentation of content. I will try to bring cinematic value to television.
Why did you choose title Ghar Ki Baat Hai for this sitcom?
It’s a good title. It has lyricism in it. We had another title called Devdas Ki Maut which was not so happening. The serial is about a family, their neighbours and different situations that they face in life thus its Ghar Ki Baat. If you ask me why comedy, personally I like comedy more than anything else.
Do you think this serial has your Ghar Ki Baat?
Well television industry doesn’t have that much money to have a set like my home. Jokes apart, it will have everybody’s ghar ki baat with lots of spice. Its first episode has Sumit Raghavan forgetting his anniversary. Interestingly, I haven’t forgotten my marriage anniversary yet. Even otherwise there are stories like these happening in my home too.
Will you be making a special appearance in the serial?
Yeah I will be making special appearance as and when required. We will try to rope in more special stars if required.

Akshay Kumar helps slain police officer’s kids
Tukaram Ombale, was gunned down by Mumbai attack terrorist Ajmal Kasab on the dreadful night of 26th November, he left behind a family consisting of his wife and daughters.
Our Bolly King, Akshay Kumar has come forward to help Ombale’s family, as he has already supported them by giving them a 5 lakh cheque and taking up the responsibility of educating Ombale’s daughters Vaishali and Bharti.
Ombale’s married elder daughter, Vandana said, said, “Yes, Akshayji has given us a cheque of Rs 5 lakh. He has also offered financial assistance for Vaishali’s as well as Bharti’s education. Vaishali is doing her B.Ed while Bharti is a final year B.Com student.”
Manoj Joshi who is organizing a play in the memory of Ombale says, “Although Tukaram only had a lathi to fight the terrorist, he did not care for his life even though he knew that Qasab had deadly weapons. Tukaram’s bravery should not go unnoticed. Akshay has done what few people would do. I have newfound respect for him.”

Hurman : I didn’t know Amrita played games
Amrita : All games were the sole preserve of Hurman in the movie and all the interaction with cricketers was solely his privilege. I’m very jealous!
Hurman : I’m sure you didn’t want to face Brett Lee at 140, trust me. Unless you like ‘fast guys’!
Amrita : I could’ve just been there, looking at Brett Lee. And I’d have been bowled over!
Hurman : I think she prefers the slower Murali. Maybe she likes being bowled around the legs!
Amrita : I didn’t know that most of Hurman’s female fan following called him ‘Hormone’ Baweja. I always call him ‘Baweja fry’! There was a rumour that he sent me roses everyday… Where are the roses Hurman?
Hurman : I think they said yellow roses. Now why yellow? I mean if you are really talking ‘link-up’, keep them red!
Amrita : I always loved cricket. One fine day, I woke up to Sachin Tendulkar and World Cup fever…

Amrita and her permanent shades
Amrita Arora is a beautiful girl, but dreadful eyes and make-up can make any beauty shudder to pose for the shutterbugs.
The same thing happened to Amrita who was asked to remove her shaded and she politely said no.
One of the cameraman asked Amrita, “Ma’am, can you take off the goggles, please?”
While she said, lensman. “No, I can’t do that as my make-up is spoilt.”
Again she was asked to remove her shades.
To which she replied in a hushed tone, “I am telling you, my make-up is all smudged, so, I am not going to remove my shades.”
Poor miss Amrita, what a shady experience for her.
