Salman Khan: The Indian Gladiator
Well we will now have our very own Gladiator, Salman Khan is going to be a long haired gladiator in his forthcoming flick Veer. Well this is not he first time that Sallu is turning warrior, he has done it before in not so remembered Suryavanshi.
Interestingly the script has been written by Sallu, while he was filming his popular flick Baaghi.
Salman says, “I wrote this script while working on Baaghi. But, it wasn’t feasible to make it then because of its vast canvas. Now things have changed, production values have gone up and technically we are so much superior.”
Salman is shown as a warrior who honors what he says and even dies for it, “Like me, I am a Pathan, and I live by what I say,” adds the actor.
Salman also revealed his directorial wishes and how he ended up as an actor.
He admits, “I wanted to be a director when I started out. But I guess I was meant to be an actor. I didn’t think I was good looking, but people felt that my eyes were very expressive.It(Direction) was a keen desire then,”
Well we would love to see those expressive eyes behind the lens too Sallu .:)
Shilpa Shetty gets hot
Shilpa Shetty after a long long time is getting to strut her lovely figure in itsy-bitsy clothes for her upcoming film Dostana. The actress has been getting loads of compliments and yeah she is enjoying them too.
Talking about the item number, Shilpa says, . “It’s going to be quite hot. I’ve worn some interesting clothes in the film, but not a bikini.”
And the leggy lass also reveals that she did not charge a single paisa from Karan Johar for the item song.
She says, “It was always my dream to work with Karan. And, I liked the song and the way it’s been shot.”
Well this is a nice way to impress K.Jo Shilpa. 
Salman Khan turns a hippie
Salman Khan first became a Sikh for heroes, is going to be a gladiator for Veer and now he will be seen as a undercover hippie cop who is a part of a mafia group on an aim to eradicate them in Wanted Dead & Alive.
The hot Khan will be seen sporting beaded necklaces and Goan sea shells for the movie.
Fashion designer Ashley Rebello reveals, “The film has been shot majorly in Bangkok and Salman will be seen wearing folded knee length pants and white shirts in the film. He will also wear a lot of checked shirts and leather jackets which give him that hippie look.”
The film is a adapted from hit Telugu movie Pokiri.
Rani Mukherjee becomes Oye Babli
After becoming a Babli, Rani Mukherjee was snapped as a sardar for YRF’s unamed flick.
According to reports Rani is playing the role of cricket fanatic, who can go to any lengths to bea part of the game.

Vidya Malvade is not a college girl
Vidya Malvade after playing the role of a sexy mother to college girl Minissha Lamba in Kidnap will now be seen as a college girl in her next flick Striker which also starrs Siddhart from RDB.
Vidya says, “We are in the post production phase of the film. It is Chandan Arora’s film. I really like him as a filmmaker which is why I chose to be a part of it. It is a film about characters. There are very few characters in the film but the characterization is fabulous. I am playing a college girl in the film. People who have watched the rushes of the film have also loved me.”

Imran Khan inspires Shruti Hasan
Shruti Hasan is a bundle of talent, apart from looking good and acting well, the daughter of Kamal Hassan and Sarika is a great singer too.Well the secret behind her singing in Imran Khans’s next flick is Imran himself, as the actor insists.
Imran says, “Shruti’s like a sister to me.”
Shruti has her own band and performs live gigs. Imran insisted his director to let her sing and voila the actress will be singing for Imran’s next movie.

Govinda to undergo surgery
Govinda has finally realized the importance of looks in Bollywood industry and is all set to go under the knife to become a Bollywood hunk.
Govinda says,“I’m thinking of going in for corrective surgery for my skin and face. Looks sell. And I need to look my best.My friends have sweet-talked me into it. However, before the surgery, I have to complete my current assignments. Most are either on the verge of completion or release. I have seven releases in the next one year after which I want to come back with an entirely different look,”
After realizing his so-called potential, Chi Chi is also planning to do away with comedy flicks and wants to concentrate on other genres of acting, “I’ve done action films in the past like Hatya and Shola Aur Shabnam but they weren’t proper action films. I want to work in an action film with stunts of international caliber and I won’t plunge into it without being fully prepared. I’ve already lost a lot of weight. But it isn’t enough. I want to lose some more.”
Well we just hope you don’t turn out to be another disastrous Shekhar Suman after the surgery.

Balika Vadhu praises Shahid
TV soap Balika Vadhu’s main actress Avika Gor is working with Shahid in Ahmed Khan’s Paathshala and left the little actress quite impressed with his looks and acting.
Avika reveals, “I have worked with Shahid and Ayesha Takia in Paathshala. Shahid is one of my favourite actors. It was my dream to dance with him. While shooting for the film, the dream came true. He is the best. Shahid even used to teach some dance steps to us.”
Shahid Kapoor has a cameo role in Paathsala which also starrs Nana Patekar and Ayesha Takia.
Deepika endorses what she believes
Deepika Padukone must have achieved success right from her first flick, but the actress has not taken it to her head and is being selective about her films as well as endorsements.
Deepika says, “I’m as selective about my endorsements as I am about my movies.”
“‘I’d definitely endorse brands that I believe in. I’d like to represent brands that suit my age. I’m endorsing the Signature brand for Levis, Kingfisher airlines, Tissot. I’m good at time management. That comes from being a sport person.

Imran Khan causes trouble for Salman Khan
Imran Khan’s disastrous Kidnap has caused worry to Salman Khan as the distributors for his next flick London dreams have decided not to distribute the film. Initially before Kidnap, London Dreams was expected to receive Rs 120 crore.
An insider says, “Studio 18 suffered a big dent in its pocket due to the box-office failure of Kidnap. Add to this the current market crash and they decided not to venture into anything extravagant at least for the time being.”
Another source reveals, “Studio 18 will not be distributing London Dreams now. Although Studio 18 was in talks with Vipul, they had not signed on the dotted line. But, the talks fell through because of the prevailing bleak market conditions.”
Well looks like Imran has kidnapped the success of Salman.
