Fatwa against Sallu’s family

I guess stars for both Sallu and SRK are not shining on them after they had an ugly fight. This time religious Islamic clerics have targeted Sallu and his family for celebrating Ganesh utsav.

Mufti Manjar Hassan Khan Ashrafi Misbahi, chief of Darul-Uloom Hijaziya Chishti issued a fatwa against Sallu and his family and requested everybody to boycott the Khan family. The reason is Khan family celebrates Ganesh utsav every year but this time they celebrated it with much pomp and fair, the family was also telecast live performing the aarti.

Meanwhile, Salman’s father Salim Khan is furious by the fatwa and asks, “What is the locus standi of these people? Who are they to question people’s religious beliefs? Why don’t they issue such a ‘fatwa’ against terrorists and terrorism, which is un-Islamic? The clerics are talking nonsense.”

    Celebrating a religion festival is not the only way to show respect as there are many other ways.
    Also for the person above…anyone is allowed to come inside a masjid as long as they are clean. Clean as in washed up and face and body is not full of piercings and also no shoes allowed inside. Of course people are allowed to enter the masjid. It is where people revert to islam or for some learn more about the religion.
    Lavani what you wrote was deep and i will say you spoke for me as well as i strongly believe what you wrote along with Angelica as well.
    You were correct. This is why it’s tricky to marry a non muslim as things become more difficult. It is possible, but it makes things more difficult.

    I read the comments and could not stay behind. A muslim does not believe in idols and so by standing in front of an idol and putting hands together for respect is not an allowed act.
