Sikh priests to scrutinize Singh is Kinng

Akshay Kumar starrer, Singh is Kinng is all set to be scrutinized by Delhi Sikh Gurudwara management committee to check whether the Sikh community has been shown in negative light in the flick.

DSGMC president, Paramjit Singh Sarna says, “We have formed a three-member committee of experts that will see the movie and based on their feedback further action will be taken.”

The film has come under the eye of many Sikh organization that have sought an enquiry into the film, which is going to hit the theatres this Friday.

Sarna adds,  “The film’s promos showed a Sikh character wearing a turban, while sporting a French cut. This is not a positive Sikh image. The screening should not be allowed until its makers make changes in the portrayal of Sikh character.”

So do we see Singh is Kinng on the fateful 08/08/08 day or do we see a delay coming. Well we have to wait for DSGMC’s response for that.
