Not An Ideal Debut For Star Kid

In the age of star kids like Hrithk Roshan, Sikander Kher, Imran Khan and Harman Baweja making huge debut, Raj Babbar’s son, Prateek Babbar, didn’t have a very grand entry. Infact, there are many chances, that he totally might have gone unnoticed by the audience… Remember Amit??? The Aditi (Genelia’s) brother in Jane Tu Ya Jane Na?? Well, he is another star kid named Prateek Babbar, who has made his debut in acting with the film.
Well, with initial roles of that sort, do you really expect a role in main stream in B’ wood??

He was excellent. And funny. and natural. What else can we ask for? I bet if he would’ve had his own debut, he wouldn’t receive such a warm acceptance from the audience. Most times, debut films suck big time, and the hype doesnt help at all. One thing I really like about JTYJN is that all the characters had an impact on teh audience. Imran’s feminist, and very opinionated mother, the fun loving parents of Aditi, and of course, the group of friends…who can forget Gigi’s “You’re not coming to my surprise party?” SSo this was a good debut for PB (hey, that is a good initials for him!) B’wood shouldn’t undermine this dude. it is not his method of debuting, it is about the character, and he did have a huge impact, even if his scenes were limited….well done PB!
