Shahid Kapoor gives up smoking
Handsome hunk Shahid Kapoor who was a teetotaler and non-smoker, had taken up heavy smoking in order to come out of the depression caused by his break up with sexy Kareena Kapoor. Gosh! Shahid you must have realized by now that Kareena doesn’t deserve your love, so why to get into depression. Just dump that girl out of your mind!!!
A close friend of Shahid revealed, “Shahid was a complete teetotaler, but he started smoking on the sets of Kismet Connection in Canada after his break-up with Kareena. He was often stressed out and we didn’t realize what was wrong with him. Suddenly, we saw him smoking heavily during the shoots. We thought it was work-related stress, but we were worried when we saw that he had become a chain smoker.”
Friends bugged him alot and advised him against becoming a chain smoker as it would ruin his health, and thankfully Shahid has realized his folly. As said by the close source, “Shahid realized that a lot had changed in his personal and professional life. Kareena has moved on and so has he. He has accepted things and is happier after Jab We Met was hugely appreciated. He doesn’t need cigarettes anymore!”
Shahid’s personal trainer and close friend Abbas Ali also confirmed the news, “Shahid is training very hard these days. But a few days back there was something amiss; he was not achieving the desired results. When he asked me what was wrong, I told him that his smoking was causing him much harm. Thank goodness, he kicked off the habit and has stuck to it.”
Shahid had taken up smoking on the sets of Kismet Connection and now has given up the habit prior to its release.

Katrina and Ranbir signed by Raj Kumar Santoshi.
An unusual but a beautiful combo, Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor are going to act opposite each other in Rajkumar Santoshi’s romantic film, which is being produced by Tips. The duos were also supposed to work together for a Yash Raj film, directed by Siddhart Anand.
But due to some changes in the script, Katrina was dropped from the movie; the film also had Deepika Padukone and Bipasha Basu. It was also rumored that the duo had shot for a while before her role was deleted due to changes in the script.
The duo complimented each other and looked great together. There was also rumors that how sizzling their chemistry was. Raj Kumar Santoshi heard one of those flying rumors and checked for himself, that Ranbir-Katrina looked awesome together and immediately signed them for his forthcoming flick.
Katrina is said to be paid, a huge amount for the mega project, the shooting is expected to commence very soon. Head of Tips and producer of the movie Ramesh Taurani has confirmed the news.
Now this is surely going to be a treat for all our eyes.
First Pakistani movie to be screened in India: Khuda Ke Liye
Khuda ke Liye is the first Pakistani film to be officially released in India after many decades. The film is about the life of Muslims after the 9/11 fiascos. The film is slated to release by the end of March. Director Shoaib Mansoor is confident that the Urdu film will hook the audiences in Hindu Majority India when it will hit the theaters here.
Khuda Ke liye is the rift between radical and liberal Islamists, which is not new to India, as the countries strong 140 million Muslim population fights the allegation every day that they are responsible for providing recruits and terrorists for militant groups.
Director Shoaib Mansoor said to the media, “It is the first Pakistani film (in India) after several decades so people should have a natural interest in it.”
“India has a very big Muslim population which should naturally be interested. And the non-Muslims (would want) to know what real Islam is.”
‘Khuda Kay Liye’ churns together three stories — of a pop singer who comes under the influence of Islamic extremists, a Briton of Pakistani origin who is forcibly married to her cousin and a man illegally detained in the US after the September, 11 attacks.
The film also has Indian actor Naseeruddin Shah in a cameo, he is a Muslim scholar who clarifies the motives of Islam during a court case.
The film was a huge success in Pakistan. The film also received a standing ovation at the International Film Festival of India last year is planned to premiere across New Delhi and Mumbai.
Says Mehreen Jabbar director of Ramchand Pakistani, “After many years, ‘Khuda Kay Liye’ saw packed theatres in Pakistan. It got people talking about the revival of cinema (in Pakistan) and opened doors to other filmmakers to start thinking again about the possibility of making quality feature films. “
Bollywood movies have been huge hit in Pakistan, lets see how Khuda ke Liye fares and attracts audience in India.

Sharukh Khan and Aishwarya To Star Together Once Again
Sharukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai are ready to star and act together once again after a long period of gap.
The reason this couple wasn’t seen on screen was thanks to Salman Khan- Ash’s ex flame. Salman Khan had a big complex and he couldn’t see his ladylove with anybody else. He made this very obvious on the sets of CHALTE CHALTE (2003), in which Ash was to act opposite Sharukh, but then due to a brawl on the sets between Sallu and Sharukh, Ash couldn star, and later Rani was chosen.
But that is a closed chapter and a thing of the past. At present Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is enjoying the success of her first post marriage release, JODHAA AKBAR. She is also known to be “The first fully active actress after marriage!”
There is no denying that their on screen chemistry between Sharukh and Ash is fabulous. The fact that their pairing in films like, JOSH (2000), MOHABBATEIN (2000) and DEVDAS (2002) proved to be a hit , cannot be denied.
In fact, when JOSH released, the general view was that Aishwarya shared a better chemistry with SRK (who played her brother in the film) than with her love interest, Chandrachur Singh! Ash and Sharukh have that kind of aura, which draws people to their films. Not only that, their item number, ‘Ishq Kameena’ from SHAKTI -THE POWER (2002) is a very popular track, till this day.
When the Bachchan Bahu was asked if she was ready to work with Sharukh, she said that she is ready to work with him, provided that there is a proposal worthy of her consideration.

He said,” Please wear a helmet please be safe, there is no use of going too fast. As even if you want the girls to see you, they wont be able to see you if you go that fast, so please go very slow,”
When asked about is most interesting ride till date, John exclaimed, “My most interesting ride till now has been the Baha 1000, that’s at the border of California and Mexico, I rode about 1000 miles and that’s the most special ride for me.”
The biker dude also showed his concern about bikes and budget, “I support bikers whole heartedly, so I will be very happy if the price of the bikes is reduced, because after Nano I think the price of bikes should be reduced”
No wonder he loves his bikes most next to sexy Bipasha Basu.
Juhi Chawla to SRK: Krazzy kiya re!
Juhi Chawla and SRK come together for Krazzy4, which is produced by Rakesh Roshan. While SRK is doing an item number for the movie, Juhi the ultimate comedy queen plays a psychiatrist. Juhi Chawla and SRK sizzled the screen whenever they were paired together.
Juhi Chawla said to a leading daily, “Krazzy 4 is an insane film, but the good thing about it is that I’m the only sane one in the movie, while Arshad (Warsi), Irrfan (Khan), Rajpal (Yadav) and Suresh (Menon) are all crazy. I play a psychiatrist, and try hard to get all these mad people on the right track…
“It’s always a pleasure to work with production houses like the Chopra’s. The script was great and now I think, Shah Rukh and Hrithik’s item numbers will be the icing on the cake.
“It has been long since I worked with Shah Rukh, and unfortunately this time, too, his is a cameo and we don’t share the same frame. But I’ve seen his song on television, the promos are already on air and I think it deserves the craze it’s garnering.
“Shah Rukh is a very natural dancer. He’s down to Earth and is handling his star status well. He hasn’t changed much, except that first he was a great actor, now he is a great actor and a great businessman too.
“The endearing part about him is that he has managed to retrieve his sense of humor and energy considering the amount of pressure that’s put on him. I love the way people like himself and Aamir have maintained themselves. When I saw his six-pack avatar, I thought he must be crazy, but then that’s Shah Rukh for you – he’s one crazy achiever, and I don’t put anything past him.”

Aishwarya To Star As Buddha’s Wife????
There is news that Aishwarya Rai was being considered for the role of Buddha’s wife Yashodhara in the film titled ‘Buddha’ – which will be produced by Paris-based NRI director Pan Nalin.
Her phenomenal performance in ‘Jodhaa Akbar’, has won her a lot of international fans.With a lot of historic international films coming her way.
Director Pan Nalin who made it real big for his internationally acclaimed Buddhist crossover film Samsara, is reported to have met with the Bollywood beauty and has discussed the script of the film with her.
‘Samsara’ is about the story of a monk, who leaves his monastery in Ladakh after meditating for years to experience the pleasures of matrimony and returns to his cloister after undergoing the trials and tribulations of a commoner’s life.
However, Nalin’s other crossover movie “The Valley of Flowers”,did not receive much international acclaim like his earlier movie. Unfortunately this film did not do well at the Indian box-office also.
Not defeated by this defeat, Palin has come up with another storyline, this one being about Lord Buddha. Impressed by Ash’s performance in Jodha Akbar, Palin found her to be suitable for the Yashodra’s role.
Though the director has met with Aishwarya and has narrated the story, the lady in question has maintained a dignified silence, so one cannot come to any conclusion now.
Nalin has penned the script in collaboration with Hollywood-based scriptwriter Tinker Lindsay. “Aishwarya has not yet said anything. But I am hopeful that she will agree to it. It is scheduled to go on the floor in August this year,” Nalin said.
It is also believed that this film ‘Buddha’ will be directed from Yashodhara’s angle. So Ash has got a big pie in hand. Let’s see if she takes up this project.
Also let’s hope that we don’t get bored seeing her do the same old traditional roles time and again.

Aamir Khan-The Storyteller
Perfectionist Aamir Khan has taken up the cause of children closer to his heart; post the release of Taare Zameen Par, which involved around a child suffering from dyslexia. Aamir Khan was recently spotted launching storybooks for children. The 8-pack abs Khan spent some time with the kids and also entertained them by telling stories. He also utilized the platform to speak about deprived children and what should be done for them.
He said, ” There are a lot of children in the country who cannot afford to purchase books. Therefore, our efforts should be towards making these books available to those kids who cannot purchase books,”
He also stressed on the fact that children should know traditional Indian literature, “I think the books which are known for their cultural and moral content like Mahabharata and Ramayana, and other stories of indigenous origin should reach children in every language,” Khan added.
No doubt that Aamir Khan is favorite amongst all children, not to forget his Taare Zameen par hairstyle too.
Big Brother Celebrities Jade and Shilpa in one Frame??
Shashilal K Nair of Ek Chhoti Si Love Story fame is planning to rope in Big Brother enemies Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty for his next film. 
The director is hoping that the combo of Jade and Shilpa will surely set the cash registers on fire, as they have what it takes for a movie to become a box-office hit.
Nair told the media, “I have a script which I would like to cast for them. I can’t reveal much about the plot but it is quite funny and they would be the main protagonists. I am meeting Shilpa’s mother on Friday and I will speak with Jade’s agent in a couple of days. Shilpa and I have been friends for a long time.”
Nair revealed that the movie is based on fighting and friendship and is pretty convinced about Jade Goody, “She was brilliant in Big Brother and after I watched the interviews with her I saw there are two sides to her. The side that was crying and the side that made someone cry. I think she has potential.”
Shilpa Shetty received the biggest boost of her career by winning Celebrity Big Brother show in 2007; she received public sympathy following the racial comments showered on her by opponent Jade Goody. Meanwhile the same show crippled the career of Jade Goody to nothing.
Let bygones be bygones Shilpa, remember it was because of Jade’s racial comments that you won Big brother show.

Hrithik Or Shahid, Whom Will Ahmed Choose????

Ahmed Khan is the next big fame Choreographer and he is very much in Demand in this big bad world of BOLLYWOOD. He achieved fame for his choreographing venture for Welcome and Jab We Met has won him many a hearts.
He is not just restricting himself to the field of dancing alone. He has explored his capacities and has tried out Direction and is also producing movies now. He is one busy man now, so much so he’s currently facing a date clash and may have to make a choice between choreographing a Hrithik Roshan number for Krazzy 4 or a Shahid Kapoor number for Ken Ghosh’s next film.
He is still sorting out his dates, but when forced to make a choice between both these actors he said he would choose Shahid whom he treats like a younger brother.
However, Ahmed is trying his very best to play around with his dates in the hope that he will get to work with both the actors.
He is also choreographing Aamir Khan starrer Ghajini- that is a remake of the south Indian version. He is also producing a movie titled “Paatshaala”.
Well Shahid and Hrithik are two phenomenal dancers. Their fragile bodies swinging around are one delight to watch.
