Jannat’s Music is going to rock the charts

Mukesh Bhatt’s forthcoming movie Jannat, has Emraan Hashmi and debutante Sonal Chauhan in the main lead. The director of the movie is Kunal Deshmukh and Sayeed Quadri has written the lyrics of the songs. Jannat’s album has 8 melodious tracks, which are composed by Pritam.
Pritam has already revealed that the tunes for the songs are lifted, ” My songs in Mukesh Bhatt’s forthcoming film, Jannat, which I had claimed were completely original are no longer so. Some parts of the soundtrack now have borrowed sounds” quipped Pritam.
The album hits of with ‘ Zara Sa’ a romantic song sung by KK, which is very well composed and sung. The song is surely going to be a chartbuster and would be amongst the top songs of the year 2008. Zara Sa Club mix sung by KK is a faster version of Zara Sa and becomes foot tapping disco material, but retains the charm of the original slow track.
‘Judai’ follows which is based on 80′s hit song ‘ Lambi Judai ‘, Kamran Ahmed is the lyricist as well as the male singer of the song, Richa Sharma renders the female voice. ‘Judai’ is remixed into ‘ Judai Kilogram mix’ where additional beats are added to the song, making it more thumping. Richa Sharma weaves her magic again with ‘ Lambi Judai ‘ and gives a fresh touch to the song, which will surely make you hum it.
Pritam again gets inspired by Pakistan Sufi pop in ‘Haan Tu‘, in typical Pakistani style, the songs has long duration of music beats (tabla beats) with less lyrics, another good song in the album. ‘Door Naa Ja’ is another splendid love song, which can be dedicated to a loved one. Sung by Rana Mazumdar and lyrics are rendered by Sayeed Quadri. The title track of the album is ‘Jannat Jahan’ and is sung by Rupam Islam and written by Neelesh Mishra, the song adds the rocky touch to the album, with its rock beats and energy.
The music album of Jannat has songs from every music genre, ranging from love, rock, sufi pop and sad.
Do listen to Zara Sa guys, it is ‘Kya Mujhe pyaar hai’ of this year.
