Khamini and Rahul
Khamini (Priyanka Chopra) the most sought after item girl in Bollywood can’t escape unnecessary scandals. She thinks it is all because she is not a leading heroine. She dreams of being the number one. But things are going to change because Khamini has devised a plot to change her image in the media, the public eye and most importantly the big producers of Bollywood. A plot that will propel her from being an item girl to being the number one heroine in India. The only thing that she did not anticipate was the arrival of Rahul (Salmaan Khan) into her life…

He goes to his picture perfect London PR job and returns to his picture perfect wife, daughters and home.

Unconventional, over-confident and extremely determined, Anjali comes from a world that Vinay could only dream of. GURU speaks through Abhishek Bachchan
I can remember n number of Amitabh Bachchan’s dialogue from Zanjeer, Deewar, Sholay, Namak Halal, Lawaris and many more films. Not just me any one for that matter and that is why he is Big B. But this time around even Jr. Bachchan is sure to have such an honor because of his most expected Film Guru. Mani Ratnam has made sure Vishal Krishna Acharya pens down the best for the period film hero. Dialogues that suggest time and stays strong time and ever! Taste a little of the treasure in store for you from Mani Ratnam.Guru: Agar aapko mera kaam achcha lagta hai aur woh gora bhi yahi samajtha hai toh phir main us gore ke liye kaam kyon karoon, khud ke liye karoonga.
(If you like my work and so does the white man, then why should I work for the whites? I will work for myself.)
Aapne bambai ko club banaa rakha hai. Yahaan yeh nahin aa sakta woh nahin aa sakta. Bas suit pehenke chal aur angrezi mein baatein. Bambai ko kutta bana rakha hai aap log ne, kutta.
(You’ve turned Bombay into a club. This one can’t come in, that one can’t come in… just wear a suit and talk English…. You’ll have turned Bombay into a dog.)
Abhi abhi bambai aaya hoon. Dhang se jhoot bolna seekha nahin abhi tak.
(I have just arrived in Bombay. I haven’t yet learnt how to lie properly.)
Agar kanoon ek din mein bun sakta hai toh ek din mein badal bhi sakta hai.
(If a law can be created in one day, it can also be changed in a day.)
“Nahi” shabd samaj mein nahi aati mujhe.
(I don’t understand the word “ no”)
Hmmm. Chalna kaun chahta hain, main toh daudna chahta hoon.
(Who wants to walk… I want to run.)
Yeh race hai aur main jeetne ke liye bhaagta hoon, sair ke liye nahin.
(This is a race and I run to win, not for leisure.)
Duniya mein har tarah ke log hote hain — aur har ek ki keemat hoti hai.
(There are all kinds of people in this world — and everyone comes with a price tag.)
Bada socho aage socho aur tez socho.
(Think big, think ahead and think fast.)
Public se kya darna, Main khud public hoon.
(Why should I be afraid of public? I,myself, am the public.)
Saif and Sanjay Dutt ready to rock 2007
2006 has been a year Bollywood will be proud of. The year
saw some of the great films on the silver screen with a dash or originality and style. Though the Khans were highly staked Sanjay Dutt stole the show with the character of Munnabhai. Now Munnabhai will be seen sharing the screen with one of the Khans for whom 2006 was no less a celebration than 2005. Sanjay pairs with Saif Ali Khan at the start of 2007 in two entirely different portrayals. One is ‘Nehlle Pe Dehlla’ and the other is ‘Eklavya- The Royal guard’. ‘Nehlle Pe Dehlla’ is a mad comic caper and ‘Eklavya – The Royal Guard’ belongs to drama genre. While the latter has been confirmed for a February 16 release, there is good probability of ‘Nehlle Pe Dehlla’ coming on February 9th. ‘Nehlle Pe Dehlla’ is a Ajay Chandok film who makes his directorial debut here. The film has been ready for quite some time but is eventually getting ready for release in 2007 beginning. Lets see how 2007 fares for the two Super Stars of Bollywood.
Satte Pe Satta remake has Sanjay Dutt
If you are a real bollywood buff I am sure ‘Satte pe Satta’ is
one of your all time favorite movie. So is it with director Raj Sippy who plans to remake the movie. And the movie will have none other than Sanjay Dutt in the shoes of Big B. “Sanju gave a super hit, Thanedaar and its song Tamma Tamma was a national rage then. I cannot think of anyone else perfectly fitting the lead role of my remake,” says Raj Sippy. But hold on your breath folks, this planned remake will be called ‘Seven’ and will have not seven but five brothers and two sisters. Now that’s what you call a different idea for a remake! The story’s transition from its original “Seven Brides For Seven Brothers” to “Satte Pe Satta” has been interesting because of Big B and his brothers but will Sanjubaba be able to weave the magic again? For me the answer is yes, how about you? Don’t forget to comment…
