Big B’s Small Birthday Bash
Amitabh Bachan celebrated his birthday on 11th October but it was not a big celebration. Mr. Bachchan surely has lots of fans outside his house who came to meet him. There was no celebration because Big B spent his 65th Birthday with his mom who was seriously ill. Abhishek was busy with his shooting in Namibia and Daughter-in-law was busy shooting in Boston. Jaya bachchan also was caught up with flu, so there was nothing special for Big B’s birthday. A close friend of Mr. Bachchan said that ‘He wrapped up his shooting by evening on the eve of his birthday and headed straight to the hospital to be with his mom. That’s where he brought in his birthday. Being with his mother gave him an inner strength and tranquility.’ In the evening there were loads of people and media persons who wanted to meet Big B but he politely turned down their offers.
Ajay cooks really well – say’s Kajol
Kajol says that her husband is a better cook than her. He not just cooks better than her but he cooks extremely good food. She says that she is very bad with cooking and cannot cook as well as Ajay. Her hubby is a wonderful cook and he cooks mouthwatering Mughlai and Chinese food. Kajol and Ajay is one couple who have not had any fights after their marriage. They are very committed to each other and they always support each other. Kajol feels that he is a multitalented person and she is very ordinary before him. She is a very simple person and loves peace. She said that her idea of a perfect home is a one which has loads of harmony. We really wish that these two stays the same way forever.
The Cutest Couple in the industry
The two new upcoming stars are said to be the cutest couple in the industry. Well im talking about Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor. They are very few on screen pair in the industry who look really cute together. The much talked about pair is the lead pair of Saawariya. It’s the most awaited movie and everyone is looking forward to see how the new cutie pair performs. Before the release of the movie itself it has been rated as a good movie and Sonam and Ranbir have no shortage of fans. By now they have thousands of fans who are waiting to see them on screen.
I know how difficult it is to wait for such a movie but we don’t have to wait long as the movie will release soon and the legend will unfold. Lets see hoe the movie goes on……… and does it goes on according to the people’s expectations or not
Madhuri Is Back
All the Madhuri Dixit fans its time to rejoice because Madhuri is back. Well, if you are wondering what I’m talking about, it’s the new movie starring Madhuri Dixit. The movie is a Yash Raj Productions and it is named ‘Aaja Nachle’ it will be great to see Madhuri back in action. The movie is set to be released on 30th November. The first look of the film was revealed first during the screening of CHAK DE INDIA, the promotion is now seeing a satellite kick start on a rocking note with the teasers dominating all the music channels. For all those who have not seen the teasers must keep looking forward in all the music channels to catch a glimpse of Madhuri.
This movie will surely rock, Not because it’s a Yash Raj Production But because it’s Madhuri’s comeback movie. I seriously can’t wait to see the Movie. So let us all wait for the magic of Madhuri to begin.
Kareena and Saif Spotted Together!
Latest news is Bollywood, actors Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan were spotted together in a Delhi Bar last week. Recently they were rumors that Kareena and long time boyfriend were splitting because Shahid had problem with Kareena Getting close to Saif. Since the news of their break-up started Kareena and Saif are spotted together in many hotspots of Mumbai. The two were not alone at the pug, giving them company were Amrita Arora, her boyfriend Usman Afzal and Karisma Kapoor’s husband Sanjay Kapur. Kareena and Saif were shooting for their upcoming movie ‘Tashan’ when the rumors started and ever since they have been linked up. The Kapoor beauty celebrated her birthday last month with a small party and selected friends, and you know who was also among her selected friends? Yes! You’re right it was Saif. The Chote Nawab has also broken up with his girlfriend Rosa and is currently single.
Saif and Kareena were seen roaming on the bike on the roads of Mumbai for the shooting of thier forthcomming movie ‘Tashan.’ Well, I don’t think Kareena will leave Shahid but she seems to be quite friendly with Saif. Do you think Saif and Kareena are seeing each other? Can’t say anything right now, but let’s wait and watch.
Amir’s first directorial debut
Amir Khan is back in action with his new movie Taare Zameen Par. What’s so special about this Movie- it’s an Amir Khan movie and it’s a remake of the Telugu hit movie Gajjini. The Tamil version of the movie was a huge hit and then the Telugu version. Amir has not just taken the Script but also the heroin. Asin will be the leading lady in the movie. The movie is about a disabled child and the person who cares for him. Memento is the Hollywood film that Ghajini is believed to have been remade from, but Aamir strongly negates and says ‘It is a genuine case of ‘inspired form’
I hope the Hindi version will also prove to be a huge hit.
Vidya Balan is Cool about Kissing
Yes! You heard it right, its Vidya Balan who has no problem kissing any actor. It is definitely a big surprise to see Vidya making such a statement. She is the actress who has captured the imaginations of the masses with her classical looks. And everyone assumed her to be the innocent girl next door who is very choosy when it comes to kissing scenes in a movie, and if that’s what you still think then your mistaken because Vidya has recently said that she is always ready to kiss any actor.
Vidya started her Career with Parineeta and set her foot in the Industry, then her work in Lage Raho was appreciated and now she’s one among the top actresses. Vidya drew herself out of the simple- cute image when she surprised everyone by Kissing Madhavan in the movie Guru. And it’s not over there, she has said that she is ready to kiss any actor as long as it is shot in an aesthetic manner and if the director is someone she trusts. Well, this shows how the industry influences a person to act according to their demands. .
Rani Claims to Have 5 Kids
Shocking news for all the Bollywood fans, Rani Mukherjee claims to have 5 kids. Recently Rani launched a new range of crystal studded watches for Women. She was also dressed in accordance to the occasion as she wore a crystal studded blouse. The media caught her at the launch and questioned her about various issues. But this time Rani was not tensed to answer any of the questions posed by the media. She was much smoother in her talk, when asked about her relationship with Aditya Chopra and their Marriage plans, she said ‘You might not know but I have five children also. Go find them and I will reward you.’ Later on Rani also criticized the media with her own interpretation of reporting in the present times. She said that today reporters are just kids who hold pen and keep writing without any knowledge about what they are writing. She feels that these kind of people bring a bad name to experienced people.
After removing all her grudge against the media she was back in her graceful ways and natural star attitude. Does Rani really have 5 kids? Or else why would she make such a statement to the Media.
Abhishek and Vivek to Work Together
Abhishek and Vivek had worked together in Shootout At Lookhandwala, but they did not do any role together. Now the two will be sharing the screen together in Apoorva Lakhia next Mission Istanbul. The movie is been directed by Suniel Shetty. When asked Suniel about these two he said that they will be working together and neither Abhishek nor Vivek has any problems with each other. Talking about the movie Suniel said that Mission Istanbul is being made on an international scale. “The theme requires an international vision. My director is browsing for F-X team from the outside. It will be top-of-the-line technicians from abroad. The movie’s shooting will be in Turkey and they have been provided with the infrastructure they require for their project.
Sounds like an interesting project isn’t it? Well after Ash getting married to Abhishek I don’t think Vivek or anyone else will have any problem with them, and it’s really nice to see Vivek and Abhishek working together. Suniel will have a real tough time to produce a movie with such a powerful subject. Recently movies like Cash and Dhoom 2 were a huge hit and future action packed movies have good competition from these movies.
Eklavya Gets Oscar Entry
Eklavya gets Oscar entry. They are very few movies in the industry which have got a chance to enter the Oscars and Eklavya has made it this time. Though the movie didn’t do well in India but it has got an entry to the Oscar’s which shows that the movie is really good one. The movie depicts a violent family saga starring Amitabh Bachchan, and has been nominated as India’s official entry for Oscar award for the best foreign movie category. This is the third time that a film by Vidhu Vinod Chopra will be going to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Earlier his short non-fiction film ‘An Encounter with Faces’ was one of the first Indian films to be nominated for an Oscar in 1980. In 1989, Parinda was sent to the Oscars as India’s official entry.
One question which is running on the minds of people is that, does Eklavya deserve this? Well I haven’t seen the movie so cannot comment on it. But for all those who have seen the movie – Here’s just one question to ask, do you think the decision of taking Eklavya to Oscar’s is right?
Abhishek Bachchan to Do Dilli 6
Abhishek Bachchan will be doing Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra’s next project Dilli 6.The Rang De Basanti director is back with another interesting project. The magic has worked well for Amir Khan and now it will be Abhishek Bachchan creating the same magic. Abhishek is all set to get back to work after his high profile wedding with Aishwarya Rai. Reportedly the director had approached starts like Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar, Siddarth and Ranbir Kapoor for the role but eventually it was Abhishek who accepted the role gracefully.Actually Abhishek was the Mehra’s first choice but things didn’t work out then, later it was Abhishek who agreed to do the role.
People definitely will have lot of expectation from Mehra this time because his Rang De Basanti had rocked the world and Dilli 6 certainly should match it. Well, lets see if Dilli 6 proves to be as good as Rang De Basanti or better than Rang De Basanti????
Ekta Kapoor Hunts the Khans
The Queen of soaps is hunting the Khans of Bollywood to perform at the television awards nite. Ekta Kapoor’s television awards will be held in December in the United Arab Emirates. The latest buzz is that either Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan will be performing at the event. The business head of the Balaji telefilms says Right from the start Ekta was sure of one thing – that her television awards show should be as big as the film awards. Ekta not just wants to bring any star but she wants to bring the stars who are associated with television so Shah Rukh Khan is the best option. Currently talks are being made to have a performance by shah Rukh. Ekta said that she always wanted television to get its recognition and she feels today, television is able to deliver more glamour, grandeur and density than the average ‘multiplex’ film. The home medium has certainly come a long way and she feels great that television has reached so far.
Ekta’s buddy and filmmaker Karan Johar will be felicitated at the function and he will also host a segment of awards. Well, I personally would love to see shah Rukh performing but will he agree to perform? Let’s see.
