Shahrukh Khan on Cruise Control
Ravi Chopra’s Bhootnath, is not just bringing in the two Big Shots of Bollywood but also portraying them is a different character. While Big B plays the role of a friendly Ghost who befriends a Kid, Shahsrukh plays a Navy Officer. Shahrukh was recently on the luxury cruise liner Superstar Libra at Mumbai with Juhi Chawla who plays his wife in the film. Shshrukh was visibly overwhelmed by the mammoth ship and was also mesmerized by its speed. He shot his scenes with co-star Juhi Chawla at a superfast speed and spent rest of the time exploring the gigantic ship. Hmm…sounds interesting! SRK will first time wear a Navy Officer’s attire on screen…sure he would look his fauji best!
A.R Rahman on a new Talent Hunt for Musical Bands
It is the Era of Talent Hunts and Star Voice of India is all set to choose the talent of India but only individual. Here is something for all you bands out there who have formed groups dedicated to music. The hunt is for the best music band and is conducted by our world music genius A.R Rahman and actor-singer Vasundhara Das. As an answer to the all the famous talent hunts that restricted themselves to North of India, this particular talent hunt is exclusive for the bands in South India. Once the hunt becomes popular it will be extended to the whole of India. And both Rahman and Vasundhara Das have reasons for this southern specific bend. “I could say that Chennai is the cultural capital of India, in Carnatic music and so many other things.So being in the South and being launched from here is very important,” says Rahman. “I’ve grown up in Bangalore and I can see what comes out of the city. It’s just huge, the potential. There are so many people and so many different forms of music playing for underground audiences who don’t listen to mainstream music,” adds Vasundhara. So let us see how this talent hunt with a difference, changes the trend. Get ready southerners with your Musical Band, Rahman is on his way.
Dhoom 2 makes it international, more food for Dhoom 3
Dhoom 2 is always in news and so there is more food for thought for Dhoom 3 which is on cards. We always knew that Dhoom 2 had international standards in terms of action and now we have been proved right. Action sequences in Dhoom 2 have been nominated for the prestigious Taurus Stunt Awards.
Fight Master Alllan Amin who directed the stunt scenes is all excited about the nomination. “I am very proud of the fact that we have won a nomination. It’s a first,” says Amin. Remember Hrithik and Ash’s scene where they jump from the cliff, with actors volunteering for the scene the directed had no qualms about shooting the scene. And it was mind blowing! The makers had also roped in Australian stunt master Vic Armstrong to execute some of the stunts. The Hollywood stunt coordinator is all praise for Hrithik Roshan: “Hrithik is one of the fittest actors I have seen recently and those efforts made the stuff on Dhoom 2 look exceptionally good”. Armstrong has directed Tom Cruise and Pierce Brosnan. Let us hope to win this international award! It sure is going to set new standards for Yash Raj Films and Dhoom 3.

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s wedding has decided a few things in Bollywood. The current status lies like this: The Khans are out of the Bachchan circle.
