Rani Mukherjee and Konkona Sen get along well!
The news that Rani Mukherjee and Konkona Sen have come together for Yash Raj Films’ “Laga Chunari Mein Daag” (which was earlier known as ‘Chooriyan’) has become stale but the surprise is that the two Bong beauties get along very well, irrespective of their experience in the film industry. A recent incident stood proof for this rapport. Rani and her co-star Konkana were both doing a dance sequence when accidentally Rani got a cut on her nose which began to bleed. Kokona, who is not comfortable dancing, said it was her clumsiness and was very apologetic about the incident. Rani was very calm and didn’t throw any star tantrums for this. She quietly went back to her make-up room and emerged in some time to finish some close-ups of her with the wound covered by make-up. However Konkana was visibly upset and though she had apologized to Rani, she also sent a huge bouquet of flowers along with an apology note to Rani. However, Rani was quite cool about the entire accident and spoke with Konkana and assured her that everything was fine. That sure was appreciative about Rani! This Pradeep Sarkar movie has Jaya Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kunal Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan. The movie is slated to release for Diwali.
Aishwarya excels in Provoked: Critics
Kiranjit Ahluwalia, the tormented lady who killed her NRI husband, was sentenced by the court of Britain. She was then released from Prison and was awarded the Bravery award in Britain. This real story will be seen on the silver screen on April the 6th with the release of “Provoked”. And the protagonist will be none other than Aishwarya Rai. Rai is being widely appreciated for her portrayal of the tortured wife.

“There are so many Kirans out there. This is not just restricted to our country, they are all around and this story had to be told. I am glad to be involved with this project,” said Aishwarya. Filmmaker Jagmohan Mundhra is positive that thought the movie comes under the genre of realistic movies, Aishwarya’s presence would make the young audience to come for it. And this would ensure that the topic is fairly addressed among the world audience, which ultimately is the aim of the movie. Alhuwalia herself was present when the film was first screened at the Cannes film festival last year. “Alhuwalia herself is happy with this film, especially the way Aishwarya has portrayed her,” said Sunanda Manohar, Producer. Provoked has been dubbed in four languages.
Every one from Bachchan family now!!!
Looks like Indian Showbiz survives because of Bachchans in this Bollywood. Not just because every single piece of news is related to them but also because they literally rule the Showbiz. Till now daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda was not present in the limelight but even she has decided to make a debut on television. But thank god it is not in some soap. She is going to be the face for Next Gen on NDTV Profit. The show would feature interviews with 12 young Indian leaders. And of course Abhishek, mama Jay and family friend Amar Singh was present to support her on the sets. But where was Mr Nanda…I guess privacy seems to be his priority unlike Amar Singhji.
Shahrukh Khan: No Offence please!
Bachchans and any one close to them will never have good vibes with SRK, I suppose. During the Filmfare awards, Shahrukh as usual was satirical about himself and others in the audience. He went a little too carried away while mentioning his movie KANK and included politician Amar Singh (Bachchan’s family friend) in his good humor. But Amar Singh, though smiled while facing the verbal attack, chose to react on Tuesday. “I will also humiliate him publicly someday and then apologise to him and say that it was said in black humor,” Singh said with a mischievous smile. Last year before holi both the personalities had differences and those were sorted out at a Holi function organized by Bachchans at their home. But this time there won’t be any invitation for SRK at Bachchan’s house. So where will you patch up King Khan!
