As I told you earlier, Juhi Chawla is all set to make the chemistry with Shah Rukh Khan work on the celluloid in Bhoothnath. After a long self-imposed exile Juhi is back and more equipped.

She is not just acting but also is singing after having been trained for classical music for five years now. Director Vivek Sharma is all praise for the damsel who can croon like magic. Sharma says, “Juhi is a wonderful singer. It’s unfortunate that she hasn’t yet put her vocal chords to use.” Lets see what Vishal-Shekhar brings for the audience with Juhi as the surprise element in it.

He’s always been a success regarding item songs and Shahrukh is doing yet another item song for friend Sajid Khan’s Heyy Babyy. The song is composed by the successful trio of Shanker, Ehsaan and Loy. The movie actually stars Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Fardeen Khan and Ritesh Deshmukh in the lead roles.

Months before Suchitra Krishna Murthy had given indications of a famous celebrity actress having an affair with her husband Shekhar Kapur. But now she has come in open accusing Preity Zinta for breaking her marriage.

While Preity has been trying to calm Suchitra down saying the affair is not true, Suchitra’s anger has flared up even more. Suchitra says “Preity called me and asked why I was slurring her reputation? How dare she call me? She dare not call me again. She was holding a screening for kids and wanted Kaveri and I to attend the screening of Janeman. She wanted to build this family image, but I am appalled at her guts.”  When Preity spoke to Suchitra she supposedly even tried to explain to her that she was getting married and that Shekhar would give her away like a father gives away his daughter. Well, what Preity doesn’t understand is that Shekhar Kapur might not have a daughterly feeling towards her as she thinks he has. Shekhar Kapur, however has not spoken about his personal life yet.

Shilpa Shetty may just be an over-familiar face for India but Britain is stung by her beauty. The gorgeous lady who started off her modeling career with Parag Sarees has now landed for a modeling assignment for Marks & Spencer, the largest clothing retailer in UK.

She has been signed as the face of the British clothing and lifestyle brand, and will launch the range with British TV presenter Gaby Roslin. Says a source in London, “Last week, Shilpa was in London to promote UTV’s Metro. During her visit, she also attended a photo shoot for the store’s clothing line. On Tuesday (March 20), an eye-witness spotted her trying out various outfits she is to wear for the advertising campaigns.” And the contract brings home £1,50,000 (approximately Rs 1.2 crore) home for Shilpa Shetty. This is just a start; let’s see what she bags next!

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai have been coo-chi-cooing wherever possible regardless of Media. Abhishek was in Karjat to shoot for Ram Gopal Varma’s Sholay song sequence and so he made sure that he gave company to Aishwarya who was shooting for Jodha Akbar. He not only parked himself at Ash’s cottage but even got homemade food, cooked under mommy Jaya’s supervision, for the actress. The couple was seen coo-chi-cooing blissfully whenever left alone. The couple also spent time with Hrithik Roshan talking about every possible thing on earth and also their favorite topic of automobiles. Hmm…looks like Abhishek doesn’t want to keep anyone offended as can his dad. Jr. Bachchan realizes that he still has to go a long way. Good that he has got SRK, Sallu bhai and also Hrithik again in his friends’ list (Professionally, I mean). While Sallu has decided to gift Abhishek an expensive Shervani for the reception, I wonder what the other important people would gift the couple.

The Ambani’s in Business and Yash Raj Films in Filmdom are spreading like creepers and what if they collaborate to open new spheres of competition.

While little brother Anil Ambani had already collaborated with Adlab films, Big Brother Mukesh Ambani makes his decision to collaborate with Yash Raj Films only recently. So lets see how big the YRF budget gets after this collaboration!

Industry is stunned by Yash Raj Films release list this year and the first to release in the list is “Tara Rum Pum”. Directed by Siddharth Anand the movie is about a car racer whose craze for speed ends up with a sad accident. The story then takes a turn to show how he and his family copes and comes out as the winner in life.

Thinking about Siddharth Anand, one should not forget that his first film “Salaam Namaste” was ‘inspired’ by Hugh Grant starer “Nine Months” and I have a faint feeling that this one too is inspired from the Russell Crowe starer movie “Cinderella Man” where the protagonist goes through the same travesties with a small change that he is a boxer and not a racer. Well alterations make the movie inspired right?

Karan Johar has plans to cast Kajol as his lead heroine. Though no script has been discussed formally, Johar has been working on some project, going to New York to fix locations and has also been meeting NGOs. All this indicates that he is running around to collect materials for his next film “Khan” which is a film on terrorism. And as all of us know that “Khan” is none other than King Khan himself, I guess Kajol will star opposite to SRK. Wow that means the silver screen jodi will be back soon. I so can’t wait to see them on screen!

One chance to bring Big B and SRK to share screen space together was Ravi Chopra’s Bhoothnath, but even that seems to be of no consequence now. Shahrukh Khan and Juhi Chawla play parents to the kid who, after the family shifts to Goa, finds out a friendly ghost which can be seen only him. Amitabh Bachchan plays the friendly ghost but the actor and SRK has to come together on screen for the climax scene. Disappointingly both won’t be exchange any conversation as no one apart from the kid can see the ghost and so doesn’t SRK. Hmm…so there is no room for media to cook up stories to fuel the inconvenient relation between the two. But I am sure even if they were asked to converse like in Mohabbattein, the actors would do it with ease. Their professionalism is quite famous after all! The film will be a visual treat for the audience, especially for the kids. And it will be good to see Shahrukh and Juhi together again after a long time. The movie will be ready by July 2007.
