Gulzar turns to children

He is a veteran and he is always innovative. Do you stillgulzar2.gif remember how eyebrows were raised when Gulazarji composed ‘Kajrare’ and more shocking was the sizzling ‘Beedi’ from ‘Omkara’? His heart seems to be asserting itself more strongly and innocence and joy will be the predominant emotion in his poem in the coming year. “I’m doing an entire album of limericks for children with Vinay Sapru and Radhika (the duo who made Salman Khan starrer Lucky),” Gulzar said. Gulzar has earlier done an entire album of music for children with composer-director Vishal Bharadwaj. Gulzaar had a great feat to achieve with a number of films he had taken up in 2005 and 2006. But 2007 is going to be comparatively relaxed with only a few films lined up- his daughter Meghna Gulzar’s “Just Married” and Ratnam’s “Lajjo”. The veteran also looks forward to direct his own film he coming year.
