Amitabh Bachchan plans it big for Bollywood
Bollywood actors have always been great goodwill ambassadors representing India. And the senior most among them would be Amitabh Bachchan. British Chancellor of the Exchequer, Gordon Brown, had a special rendezvous with the legend of Bollywood. And as the sweet talk gained depth serious matters like the Bollywood film industry’s presence in England were discussed and planned. “Chancellor Brown wants to extend the parameters of our collaboration with Great Britain. He wants to provide further incentives and facilities to our film industry for shooting in England. I am certainly willing to represent our industry in every way that I can,” said the actor. Shilpa Shetty to meet the Queen
Shilpa Shetty is all ready to conquer Britain. After winning the British reality show Big Brother, Shilpa is all set to share some small talk with Britain’s Queen Elizabeth and Prime Minister Tony Blair. “It’s a huge honor. SRK is now up to another venture…He will reveal his Wax figure in Madame Tussauds museum in London. Happy with how his latest television show KBC has turned out to be the star says, “The best compliment I received is that I am doing KBC my way. My friends from the film industry, Arjun, Preity and Priyanka called me up to congratulate me. It is a challenge to do a new episode every day. But I love every minute of it. I am here to see that at the end of the day, even if contestants lose the game, I bring a smile to their face”.
Strongly denying the constant comparisons with Big B, SRK says he has his own body language that no one can imitate so there is no question of comparison. Right now SRK is getting ready to take his kids to the never before visited Madame Tussauds museum.

Yash Raj is almost ready with its comedy flick with Rani and Saif, two children and a red car. TRP (Tara Rum Pum) is soon going to hit the screens and Siddharth Anand planned it all. Mithun Chakraborty looks for a meaty role
After a mind-blowing performance in Mani Ratnam’s Guru, Mithun Chakraborty was supposed to appear on screen shaking legs with Amitabh Bachchan in Ravi Chopra’a Bhoothnath. But now that he has discovered that the role is limited to just an item song, Mithunda has refused to do the role. . Though in 80s both actors were believed to be at odds with each other, but both were seen with each other in Agneepath. The fetched many awards for both the actors. News papers were flaunting about the supposed reunion of the two legends after nearly 16 years, but Mithunda’s agent has to say something else. “Mithun dada was never approached. It was the media who created the news out of nothing,” says Vijay Upadhayay. Well whether Ravi Chopra offered the role or not Mithunda surely needs a meaty role than a leg shake!
Shahrukh Khan waits for Amitabh Bachchan’s verdict
Shahrukh is waiting…he is waiting for the one and only remark from Big B on his new KBC 3. “I have still not received any message from Bachchan saab. But, I wish he sees it and gives his reaction on how I am carrying on the show started by him,” Shah Rukh told in an interview.
SRK who is overwhelmed by his friends’ and family’s response need to know what Mr. Bachchan thinks about the show. Big B on the other hand apologized for not having seen the episodes till now. “I’m sorry Shah Rukh, but I will watch it soon and then we will sit and talk,” Amitabh was quoted. So now that both the biggies have become humble before the media one needs to see what message Amitji sends SRK.
Aishwarya is here to stay
If you think that those eyes are made to rule and prove, and not to sit at home to be a good and responsible wife, then you can be true about Ash. After the most sought after couple, Aishwarya and Abhishek, were engaged rumors went high that Ash might quit movies as Jayaji did when she married Amitabh Bachchan. But the Bachchans have no intentions of stopping her from working.
“There’s absolutely no talk of Aishwarya giving up her career. After ‘Guru’ she has entered a new performing peak. This is the time when she needs to build on her actor’s image. There’s absolutely no hint of a closure to her career after marriage, whenever that happens,” a source close to the family said. And to top all that 2007 looks like Ash’s busiest year with releases and projects lined up: ‘The Last Legion’, ‘Provoked’, ‘Jodha Akbar’ and ‘Sarkar 2’. To add to that the lady might ink a Karan Johar movie and a movie with John Abraham. And Ash I don’t think is so irresponsible to move ahead with these projects with out her in-laws’ approval. So people just relax and wait to see her in some other role.
Bollywood veteran passes away
Bollywood has lost one of its gems in its music world. Ace music director O P Nayyar passed away on Sunday following a massive heart attack.

Amitabh Bachchan being honored
The legend of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan, is being honored with the Legion d’Honneur, France’s highest civilian award for his contribution to International Cultural life.
And the entire Bachchan family will attend the function (which includes Aishwarya) when the French Ambassador Dominique Girard will confer the award on Bachchan at a special function at the embassy. The BBC Online voted him as the ‘Star of the millennium’ above Hollywood greats like Sir Lawrence Olivier and Charlie Chaplin. Kudos to Big B!
Shilpa and Jade to be cast together
They thought it was the last of each other that they had seen but bollywood based film maker Shashilal K Nair has made it sure that the audience to have more of the Shilpa-Jade ‘romance’ on screen.
