4. Jaan-e-maan:Though one of the most awaited releases of the year failed to live up to expectations initially, it now seems to have kept its position at number four for this week.

3. Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna: This Karan Johar flick rides on despite some initial controversy and uproar in India. The huge start cast, bold storyline make this film our number three flick for the week.

2. Don: The Remake of the orginal Don continues to rake in the moolah especially from the overseas market. SRK plays the lead role, and none comes anywhere close to his popularity overseas.

1. No two ways about this Dhoom II is the top movie for this week. The super cool flick with and great action has set cash registers ringing and its making the junta go gung-ho bout it…

Ashhhhhhhhh fell and got bruised during the shoot of Guru. Guess what was she riding on- a bicycle…lagta hai kissiii ne Ash ko distract kar diya kya…he he he!

59Poor Ash she keeps hurting herself on the sets. But last time it was really big- she was shooting for ‘Khakee’ and she had met with an accident when a jeep backed down on her on the sets. Good that Mani chose a historical film set against the backdrop of India’s struggle for Independence because of which Ash just had to ride a bicycle!

Oki people… while Sowmya gives you the rough collections of DHOOM 2 in her tid-bits of Bollywood podcast, lemme give you the exact figures the magnum opus managed to rake in the US of A and UK…

USA mein DHOOM 2 ne machaayi apni dhoom by grossing $979,000 over the weekend in 63 theaters… because it had released on thanksgiving, it managed to get the cash registers ringing and amassed a mind-lowing $1.3 million (that’s over 6 crores guys!) for the four-day weekend…

However, Daniel Craig ruled the screens as James Bond in his Casino Royale in the UK… But still, D2 managed to collect £415,701 (just about 3.5 crores!), which is much better when compared to Ben Affleck’s ‘Hollywoodland’ which managed to pull in a mere £65,735…

The first week is still not over guys, and the international collections have crossed the TOTAL collections of several other Bollywood films… the no. of records it’s gonna break all in all is only left to out imagination……

Friends I have been talking a lot about Abhishek in Guru and almost nothing about Aishwarya. But not to worry I have exclusive stuff on her on the sets of Guru and min dyou these are not part of the Abhishek- Aishwarya saga that is going on in media.

Apparently Ash felt so homesick during the shoot that she decided to rush home during an unexpected break between a location change from Badami to Chennai. “She got fed up of Studio food and therefore rushed home. In Badami, she was surviving on salads and liquids. She is a foodie, yet she has to maintain her diet. That’s how most of her favourite food gets eliminated from her menu” informs Hari Singh her business manager. Looks like this mistress of spices loves mild vegetables more than spices!

Abhishek has been saying that Hrithik inspires him and Hrithik also has been talking fondly of Abhishek. And they have decided to keep this fondness for each other forever by promising each other that they would do one film together every two year. Well my dear stars if you decide to be peaceful and humble what will the media have for news! Anyway lets see how far this ‘Jigri’ Dosti goes on.
