Abhishek Bachchan in LAGE RAHO MUNNABHAI ???
According to latest rumours, Abhishek Bachchan is the surprise package in soon to be released Lage Raho Munnabhai. We heard Abhishek is playing a cameo in this film. He plays Dia Mirza’s husband who is Boman Irani’s daughter. Boman Irani plays a loud rich Punjabi builder this time. Lage Raho Munnabhai has three additions this time – Dia Mirza, Vidya Balan (replacing Gracy Singh) and Abhishek Bachchan.
Incidentally, Abhishek has done quite a few cameos in his career including RAKHT, HOME DELIVERY, EK AJNABEE, HUM TUM and SALAAM NAMASTE. Lage Raho .. is slated for release on 1 September.

Now this is what we call breaking news!!! Someone had the taste and the courage to stage a walk out of an exclusive premiere of the current chartbuster “Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna”. 
If that was not enough, he did this especially because he thought the rest of the over three hour long movie would hurt the sentiments of his young son! Before you start scratching your heads and trying to figure out whom we’re referring to, let us tell you it was none other than ShahRukh Khan himself!!!
The 40+ star had organized an exclusive premiere of the movie but couldn’t allow his little son Aryan to see the second half of the film because he thought it would hurt his sentiments… This is because Jr. Khan adores Preity aunty and wouldn’t like it one bit if he saw his own dad leaving his favorite aunty for Rani aunty… Well, kudos to king Khan for being the sensitive and understanding dad he is. And as for Preity and Rani, they would just screech out – “Kabhi Aunty Na Kehna 
”

Bollywood, the world of dreams… of aspirations and heart breaks, of determination and debacles (read disasters). A place where fairy tales are told in a make believe fashion and most of the movie going population enjoys… but have we ever thought about the nasty face of the glam world which might not be that pleasing a picture to see… a crude lot of people who would never let you prove your mettle without their share of benefits!
Another example of unrecognized and frustrated talent was Biswajeet Ratan Mitra (22) who had dreams of making it big in tinsel vile one day. The young struggler was a frequent visitor to film maker Mahesh Bhatt’s office. And after over 500 days of unfruitful struggle, he planned to end his life right there! Thankfully he was saved just before he set himself ablaze! He’s been booked under a case for attempt to suicide and will appear in the court tomorrow… it’s certainly not a cake walk, is it???

Well we know that he makes news lightning fast but this time it’s just three meetings with Tulsi Kumar – sister of T-Series baron Bhooshan Kumar that spread the word around that those two are romantically involved… Reshamiya, who was rocking Orlando with his concert, was aghast on hearing this. “I don’t even have her cell number.” Retorted the singer… you never know, he might just compose a song to ask her number now

It’s definitely raining sequels in Bollywood. After the super success of sequels like ‘Phir Hera Pheri’, ‘Krrish’ and expected success of movies like ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’ and 
‘Krrish’, producer Vinay Kumar Sinha is planning a sequel to Aamir Khan – Salman Khan starrer ‘Andaz Apna Apna’.
Sinha says that he has spoken to Raj Kumar Santoshi, the director of the film and he has promised that he shall try and bring the same cast together if possible. Santoshi is currently shooting for ‘Haal Bol’ with Ajay Devgan while Sinha’s next film is being directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia.
‘Andaz Apna Apna’ saw a great on-screen chemistry between Aamir and Salman, and we hope both of them agree to do this sequel, since both of them have mastered the art of comic timing at present.
If things materialise, be ready for one more rib tickling comedy down the line !
Rahul Khanna : Iam not dead !
Yesterday Bollywood was buzzing with rumour of actor Rahul Khanna’s(Akshaye Khanna’s bro) death. His office and family were hounded by innumerable calls as the news of his death spread like wild fire in the movie circles. When contacted, Rahul Khanna says, “This is really absurd and an irresponsible rumor. I am down with terrible viral infection and have lost my voice. That’s why I am not being able to take calls. But my family and office have had to field inquires. Basically, I would like to assure all my well-wishers that I’m fine. Don’t pay heed to these silly rumors.”
Rahul Khanna has been shooting for Raj Kanwar’s ‘Raqeeb’ for a month now. He was supposed to start a new project with a TV channel this week too, but he has postponed it, due to his illness.
Angelina Jolie to grace the land of Bollywood
Well, well, well, guys did you hear, do you know who’s coming to town??? Heard of a certain phirang diva called Angelina Jolie??? Yes, you heard it right, Yup, is none other than Angelina Jolie who is expected to touch down the Indian shores for the shoot of the flick ‘A mighty heart’. She is starring in the film alongside Bollywood star Irfaan Khan.
Though the shot was originally scheduled to be Pakistan, visa problems for Irfaan shifted the locales across the border to India.
The latest Angelina Jolie movie is the story of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, and Jolie plays the role of Daniel’s wife Marianne. Dan Futtermann is slated to play the lead role in the movie, but no one seems to be really talking about him though. As of now, I and many of you would simply be happy to have a dekho at the super gorgeous diva.
Hrithik Roshan in Bollywood Tonight on Zee Muzic today
Hrithik Roshan will give an interview today on Friday August 25 at 8 pm exclusively for Zee Muzic. The first part of the interview today will see Hrithik getting nostalgic about his experience in bollywood.
When asked whether he’s flying high in the air after the success of Krrish, Hrithik replied “no I’m firmly rooted to the ground”. He also adds that “as a child I was always fascinated by Superman, and today it feels absolutely wonderful to be called Indias first super hero”.
The second part of this interview will air on Monday, 28th Aug at 8 pm on Bollywood Tonight on Zee Muzic.

Dhoom 2 is Bigger and Better than Dhoom
After the super success of Dhoom, it’s sequel is definitely something to look forward to. Dhoom 2 starring Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan and Bipasha Basu is all set to release this November.
According to Abhishek, Dhoom 2 is bigger and better than Dhoom. With sequels doing great in the recent past like Phir Hera Pheri, Krrish, and now soon to be released Lage Raho Munnabhai, we hope Dhoom 2 also surpasses the original Dhoom.
According to reports, Hrithik Roshan will be shown in more than 15 different get-ups in the movie. The reason for this is supposed to be Hrithik’s role of an international thief and hence to give the police a slip, he goes to such lengths. With Bipasha Basu and Aishwarya Rai in glamorous roles and Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra continuing where they left off in the original, Dhoom 2 will be off to a flying start we guess. This film will be full of action, style and hot women. The promos also look very sleek and promising.
And the latest buzz doing the rounds is that Hrithik and Aishwarya will gyrate to the tunes of ‘Dhoom machale’ once again. Moreover Hrithik and Ash have performed some great stunts in the movie. Reportedly DHOOM 2 is bigger, better, faster and more furious than DHOOM.
Hot Gossip – Is Jiah Aamir Khan’s Step Sister?
Jiah Khan , the latest sensation in Bollywood is already making news even before her first movie, ‘Nishabd‘ with Amitabh Bachchan got released. The latest dope on her is that she is Aamir Khan’s step sister.
Apparently, Aamir’s father, producer Tahir Hussain had worked with Jiah’s mother Rabiya in a few films several years back. And it all started with that ‘working relationship’. Incidentally, Jiah herself doesn’t know who her father is, except the information passed on by her mother that her father was an American.
Although Tahir Hussain denies having anything to do with Jiah, this bit of gossip, has spread like wildfire in Mumbai circles. But it is natural that such rumours will go through the usual denials and fights. It may be recalled that some time back, a film magazine had disclosed that Aamir had a son out of wedlock with a British journalist. And it turned out to be true. It seems that history is repeating itself !!!
Bollywood gaining momentum in U.S
It’s been a special year for Bollywood in the United States. Four Bollywood movies have already crossed the $2 million mark at the box office – Rang de Basanti, Fanaa, Krrish and now Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. While it is time for celebrations, the future of Bollywood does not seem that bright because it appears unlikely that this magic will be repeated next year.
Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna already reached $2.38 million mark at the box office in the second week since its release. It marks a high point for Bollywood films in America.
Boxofficeguru.com, Editor, Gitesh Pandya told, “Year 2006 has been a huge comeback year for Bollywood after 2004. And 2005 had been less than spectacular. You have four films that are opening above the $600,000 level in North America compared to only one in 2005. And we haven’t even had the Diwali movies yet. So, it looks like a major comeback year”.
But Bollywood has a challenge ahead meeting the expectations set in 2006. It has created a record in the US this year, but whether it can sustain that will depend on the quality of films it produces in the years to come.
Suman Ranganathan to get married to producer Bunty Walia
Bollywood actress Suman Ranganathan who catapulted to fame in the 90′s with the song ‘Ye teri aankhe jhuki jhuki’ of ‘Fereb’ is all set to marry Producer Bunty Walia after courting for a few months. Bunty and Suman have known eachother since 1998 and were good friends. Bunty confirms that 25 August is the D-day.
The couple is planning a 10-day honeymoon in Paris after that.
It may be recalled that Suman was earlier married to model Gautam Kapoor. But their marriage didn’t work out. Bunty Walia is also a divorcee.
We hope they are lucky second time !!!
