Kareena to at her best in Yash Raj Films
Did you think that Kareena looked her best in Ashoka or in
Don? If yes then you are mistaken, Kareen is back in Yash Raj Camp and she is going to look her hottest best in the next flick of hers. Kareen has not been working for past nine months now and she has been working out to look the best. She is going to be seen opposite Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan in this next Yash Raj Flick. So watch out for bebo guys!
Biggies at their best in 2007
2007 will see Amitabh Bachchan, Salman, Abhishek and Aishwarya competing with each other.
Eklavya, Guru, Salaam-e-Ishq and Provoked are going to open the New Year and no one needs to be told that it is going to be one tough competition on the Box Office. While Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai would be pairing up in the first biggie of the year, GURU, Amitabh Bachchan would be seen in first EKLAVYA – THE ROYAL GUARD [February 16] and then (probably) NISHABD [February 23]. There are also chances of Ash’s PROVOKED getting released on the same day as NISHABD. And Salman Khan sees his film’s release right between these flicks on January 25th.
Aishwarya at Pushkar offers prayers
Aishwarya was at Pushkar on Thursday and paid obeisance at
the tomb of Sufi saint Khawaja Moinudeen Chisti and offered prayers at the Brahma temple at Pushkar near here. While at the dargah she almost went unnoticed, her bodyguards had a little scuffle with the priests at the brahma temple. Well if people really didn’t notice the world famous face then something might be wrong with them. So it is natural for stars to attract attention. But I must say the lady managed it well and not like Katrina.
KBC 3 unveils the Promo
The first full-length promo of KBC 3 with SRK in it on the anchor’s seat will be aired tonight with the brand new tagline ‘Kuchh Sawaal Zindagi Badal Saktey Hain’.
The ad is more than two minutes long and the ad has got a kid and is focused on the young generation. It introduces an inquisitive kid asking questions to people around him. Playing the part is four-year-old Shrey Bawa who grows up to become Shahrukh Khan. Catch the cute boy and King Khan weaving his magic in the two minute clip at 9 p.m on Star Network tonight.
Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan feud
Ravi Chopra is always amid stars who fight among themselves, remember John and Sallu in ‘Baabul’? I somehow wonder is it the other way round! Anyway, the latest is that Ravi Chopra’s upcoming project “Bhootnath” which had Big B and SRK sharing several frames is right now at a critical juncture. SRK seems to be very skeptical sharing the screen with Big B due to their apparent differences through KBC.

Shah Rukh Khan’s pair in Chak De
Do you remember her in ‘Santro Walen hai na’ ad for Hyundai.
She is Vidya Malvade. Well what did you think? Does she look nice with SRK or did she look like his daughter? I really think she looks like SRK’s daughter…but the point is however much we regret her being in the ad she has been paired with SRK again for his next flick. Yash Raj Films’ ‘Chak De’ is already on floors and the cast is shooting in Australia. And none other than Vidya Malvade (santrowali) is cast opposite SRK. Incidentally, Vidya plays a young Sikh girl in Chak De, who wants to join the hockey team but cannot get her parents’ approval. SRK plays the team’s coach. It is being directed by Shimit Amin (Ab Tak Chhappan). God what a mismatch!
Antakshari in a new avtaar
Deewane, Parwanee, Mastane and Afsaane will be back with
the same ‘dhadakedaar’ host Anu Kapoor…all this not on Zee television any more but on STAR!!! Remember the heartrending outburst of Anu Kapoor on the last episode of Antakshari? Well it was genuine; after all it had finished 12 successful years on television. “We are introducing Antakshari in a new format and with a new concept, but the essence of the show will remain the same. I was looking to explore my creativity in a new way and Star has allowed me to do that,” Gajendrra Singh, director and creator of the hugely popular series, told reporters here. Singh added, “It was not a question of a fallout or anything with Zee. It was just that I felt my creativity had reached a stagnation point. When I presented my new concept to Star they were very positive.”
“Even though this has been a long-running show, we hope to enhance it by making it more interactive and reality-based. This will involve a lot of on-ground publicity. The show will go on air in February,” said Ajay Vidyasagar, Star’s executive vice president for marketing and sales.
“I will try to bring that era back and make my best effort, but I am nobody to guarantee success,” said Anu Kapoor who is on cloud nine for the re-launch of the show. The female hostess’ name remains pending as the competition for the post runs between three promising television faces on STAR.
I can’t wait for this come back. It is sure going to be a feast os songs for the all time bollywood buffs like me!
Aishwarya dead against Mallika attending Guru Premier in Toronto
Mani Ratnam’s Guru premiers in Toronto, Canada. The film’s world premiere is on January 11 at Elgin & Winter Garden Theatre Centre, where most Hollywood films open. The man behind the show is Canada-based Indian, Roger Nair, who has acquired the Canadian rights of the film from Bobby Bedi’s Kaleidoscope Entertainment.
But Mallika Sherawat and Vidya Balan are not in the list of invitees for the premier. Reason…the same one that made the music launch of the film go without Mallika. Well our lead lady in the film- Aishwarya doesn’t want Mallika hogging the lime light- either with her loud mouth or with her skimpy clothes. Rai’s troubles with Sherawat began a couple of years ago when the latter said, “Let Aishwarya Rai cover her face first, then I’ll cover my body.”
Not just that Sherawat threatened Ash that she would overshadow Rai at last year’s Cannes International Film Festival, where the two were promoting their films, The Myth and Provoked respectively. The reason why Vidya is not invited is still under cover. Ladies please don’t invite unnecessary vibes for a splendid movie like GURU. These catfights do not suit Ash, is she really so insecure that she fears Mallika will steal the show?
Amitabh Bachchan rules Delhi Walahs’ hearts!!!
This is just the right news to end my long hard day’s work guys… nothing to do with any Bollywood bombshell so keep those wagging tongues under control 
The news is that Amitabh Bachchan has been awarded with the title of ‘Indian Of The Year 2006’ by Times Of India!!! The national newspaper conducted a survey among 1,005 Delhi-ites (that’s the only way I could spell the word 
) and AB senior was on the top of the list – as expected!
While the sexy Sam won with a whopping 15% of the words to his name, the next in line were Sachin Tendulkar and Soniya Gandhi with a mere 5% each… God bless them with some more Delhi based fans
Atif Aslam breaks from his group
We heard him as part of Jal, and then we heard him singing
soul deep solos in films like Kalyug and Bas Ek Pal. Now we will hear him in his latest album Doorie, but this time the album is Atif’s alone and not from Jal. Atif has apparently said good bye to his musical band Jal and is now ready to pursue a career alone. And Bollywood is urely swinging to his tunes in Doorie. Sure the album is going to hit a high note with his new album!
Akshay Kumar back in Yash Raj camp
John might be out of Yash Raj Camp but Akshay is in!
Considered as a dependable star at the box-office, Akshay has again made it to the good books of Yash Raj Films. After “Dil To Pagal Hai” Akhay had separated from Aditya Chopra due to some differences. And this re union brings in not just one but two films. Vinay Krishna Acharya, who wrote the screenplay and dialogues for Dhoom and Dhoom 2, will direct one of the films. The film is likely to get started by around June, next year and will in all likelihood be an action flick. The details for the other film still have to be worked out. Producer Aditya Chopra called up Akshay, met up with him, cleared the air and made an offer to Akshay to do two films under the Yash Raj banner. Lets see if the star is really dependable as two of his films – ‘Hey Baby’ and ‘Namaste London’ are going to hit the box office soon. So If John really regrets his ousted he can just prove that he is worth giving a second try!
